The recent experience made him figure out that the things that the wealthy dealt with might be even more stressful than what normal people dealt with.

At least, he had never once suffered such a brain-consuming problem like earlier when he was poor.

His problems revolved around searching for money for food and rent. He never had to worry about abstract things like the law, or even how his wealth would affect society.

Nobody used to care whether he ate or not, but a simple move now could affect the very direction of multiple people's lives.

Something like the Fund he had set up required the city government to intervene and oversee. Li Lin might have nigh absolute power in the fund, but if the city government found out that she was mishandling it, they would take it away from her and make the whole thing public.

What Han Li did not get was that in the event such a thing happened, he would still be responsible for funding the whole thing even when all powers would have basically gone to the city government.

But hey, at least they did not impose any taxes on the fund. They also provided auditors and a public platform where all transactions could be monitored.

Han Li knew that they were hoping that the Fund would mess up somewhere and they would take advantage of that to 'legally' take over the fund, but it seemed like the asset management system was going to make that impossible.

While the Fund was not part of his assets as it was more of a liability, it was still technically a source of income as he could still use the Rebate system to earn Rebate points that could be used in the system store.

Yes, the new feature that had been unlocked was the system store and from what Han Li had seen, he could buy anything available on the planet.

And by anything, I mean anything.

There were proficiencies and knowledge that ranged from the very basic level of education and apprenticeship to the very pinnacle of human knowledge. Hell, he could buy knowledge from the future if he could afford it, but could he afford it? At least he couldn't at the moment.

He could also buy property from the store but Han Li decided to hold off on that. First was that he needed rebate points to buy anything from the system store and he currently only had 100 million rebate points after successfully spending 1 billion yuan.

100 million points was a lot of points, but it was impossible to buy a high-value asset with this much.

It was better to buy the kind of assets that 100 million points could afford with real money instead of wasting rebate points.

The second reason was that buying things from the store would not give him any rebate points afterward. It would be foolish to buy anything from the system if he could access it from the real-world market.

That aside, there were insane things that he had seen in the system store that he could not find even in real life but he could easily access them from the system.

Things like weapons and drugs, Han Li could buy them too. The limited edition of this and that were not limited to him. They also came with the required certifications and permits.

There are even things from centuries ago that he could buy. There was actually wine from ancient empires that was still safe for consumption and not just for display.

But all those were luxuries to the current Han Li. He did not have the required points to even start fantasizing about those things. What was available to him, however, was University knowledge that he could buy and they even came with the necessary papers.

After much contemplation and a pretty dumb decision of spending half of his current points, he decided to buy Seven Courses that could be subdivided to form 20+ majors.

It could not be helped, that is the way they came into the store and he could not do anything about it.
