ETS Store.

The first thing he bought was the Finance, Accounting, and Management knowledge. He bought the whole package to the doctorate level. It was his major in university and he struggled but managed to graduate, so there was that.

The moment he confirmed the purchase, a stream of information and insight entered his mind and he could not help but laugh when he finished digesting it. He felt ignorant when he finished reflecting on many things.

For example, instead of using money the way he did, he could have bought FTX and used that money to refund customers. His account allowed him to overdraft for some reason and he could totally handle the whole ship. By the end of it all, he would have assets worth billions and the second mission would have been completed automatically, but well… there was no use thinking about it now.

This was the price of ignorance and he was extremely ignorant.

The second thing that he bought was the Law, History, and Linguistics certification that gave him mastery over the law, history, and different languages in the country. It could be said that he had become the best lawyer, historian, and local linguist in the whole country, with an intimate understanding of all these three fields.

The experience of setting up the fund had made him realize just how someone with a good grasp of the law could screw you over without even you realizing it. If he did not have a formidable bench of lawyers representing him, he could have very well sold himself and paid for the purchase.

Just the number of taxes would have crippled the Fund. Well, that was impossible but... you get it.

He also appreciated the knowledge of History and Linguistics as they gave him a good picture of the development of the country and the way the country had developed to its current state.

There were things that he ought to know as a billionaire and this knowledge helped him with that. Now he did not have to worry about his lack of knowledge and crude language the way he previously was.

Han Li also took other such subjects like World History and Literature knowledge, Cultural Studies and Social Sciences Certification, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, and Design Knowledge to keep up with the trends of the world.

The last two were the Arts, Sciences, and Sociology knowledge and the Business, Economics, and International Trade Certification.

At this point, he was just padding himself, making up for the areas that he deemed lacking to pave the way for his future endeavors.

Han Li was sure that he would have to interact with all types of people when he was completing his second mission. He did not want to be looked down upon from the very get-go.

It was okay to lack technical knowledge in some areas, but as a tycoon, there was no way he could or should be lacking in the cultural, social, or general aspects.

It was not that it was impossible to find such a tycoon, but Han Li did not want to be such a tycoon. What tycoon could not even read and understand a contract or financial statement?

As for the other technical and more specialized knowledge, Han Li left them for later.

He still remembered that apart from 10 billion yuan, he still had the Extreme Competence that he had received. If it worked as well as he thought it should, there was no need to even rely on the system for specialization.

He was the tycoon. He was the one paying people to specialize. There was no need for him to take such an opportunity from others. Of course, this was also subjective as he did not know what tasks the system would give him in the future, but Han Li had no particular interest in closing himself off in some lab when he could pay someone to do it instead.

Speaking of paying someone to do work for him, Han Li planned to do exactly that to complete the second mission.

There was no way in hell he was going to buy assets worth 10 billion yuan by himself.

Even if he decided to buy bitcoins only, those were about 20,000 bitcoins. It was impossible for him to do it on his own, much less find so many people willing to sell that much.

It was not that it could not be done, but why would he do it? The Asset Management could in theory ensure that his assets grew in valuation, but with something that could fall at any time, value was relative.

Today bitcoins might be valued at 526,000 yuan and the valuation would increase after he bought 20,000 bitcoins, but what about after that?

Such a large purchase in the short span of a month would cause a shock and after that month if he, a large player suddenly disappeared, it would cause quite the panic.

Panic aside, Han Li had to say that it was quite a good way of making money fast. He could cause a sharp spike with bulk purchases, and then dump them back to the market after that after he completes the mission and takes advantage of the peak.

When the market finally reacted to the influx of bitcoins, it would already be too late.

But why do it? Han Li did not need to do something like that to make money. If anything, he predicted that bitcoins would rise the more bitcoins were traded. And if he could see such a large hole, there must be others seeing it too. Hell, Satoshi might be bidding his time waiting for all 21 million bitcoins to be sold so that he can dump his coins back into the market before something new takes the market gap left behind at that time.

This was the danger of these currencies. Since there was no third party acting as an authority, it was actually pretty easy for a big figure like him, or Nakamoto to mess up everything and make tons from the chaos.

Han Li preferred creating his own digital currency if it came down to it.

But for now, 10 billion yuan was still too little to even think about it. It was better to buy real estate and luxury goods with this little money.

Han Li exited the bath, feeling refreshed and his mind clearer. It seemed that Extreme Competence did more than just enhance his learning ability.

{A/N: This is a work of fiction, fantasy. This is purely my dumb brain thinking of dumb conspiracies. Nothing is true. I don't even know how bitcoins, blockchain, and blockchain technology work.}
