Chapter 30 Explorers Guild(8)

"I can't buy this arnament."

"What? Why?" The youngman asked panicking as he could see his pay raise slipping through his hands like the sands of time.

"It's not that I don't want to buy it, it's just that I don't have the money right now." Alex shrugged as he placed the sword back into it's case. This caused the youngman to calm down a bit as he answered.

"That's okay, this arnament won't be sold for obvious reasons so it will still be here until you saved the needed amount."

"Or you could give me a discount." Alex said hopefully.

"Sorry sir, we don't offer discounts." The youngman smiled which caused Alex to click his tongue.

"Either way since I can't buy the [Shadow Reaper] there are still a few other things I might need." Alex said

"Of course right this way sir."

For the rest of the day Alex roamed the store and each time he bought an arnament or regular item his heart bled. In total he spent around 300,000 to 700,000 credits, among the arnaments he bought an arnament called [Large Water Canister(E)] that allowed him to store over 200kl of water or any other liquid,

[Large Chest(E)], it was silver with a golden trim around it's edges, that could store up to 60 cubic meters of food, cores or anything else really and it's second enchantment allowed everything to be preserved at the same state it was when it entered the chest, this arnament was the most expensive costing 350,000 credits. Along with arnaments he also purchased a leather bag to replace his fanny pack and a lot of clothes.

"It was a pleasure doing business with you sir." The youngman said with a smile as the grumbling Alex walked through the door.

Alex's next stop was the kitchen he needed to go to the cafeteria to fill the [Large Water Canister(E)] and to buy some food boxes to fill [Large Chest(E)]. He definitely wasn't to eat roasted beast meat for inside the dungeon or God forbid goblin meat. After paying a fee he got his arnaments filled to the brim with food and water. Leaving the cafeteria he headed back to his room and looked at his account balance. As he saw the amount remaining it felt like he was stabbed through the heart, his balance was reduced from 999,000 credits to 170,000 credits. Shaking off the sudden feeling of hopelessness washing over him he went online and started researching the [Goblin Den] dungeon after that he went to the tab and looked at the profile of his soon to be party members.

The appointed leader of the party is a man by the name of Bayal. He had brown hair, 25 years old and had been an F ranked explorer for around 5 years. He had completed 33 quests in total and was at level 9. There were 30 members in the party in total and all of them, except Alex, was below level 10, with only 3 of them at level 9. The other two level 9s were a woman name Alice and a youngman named Chris. Alice was a blonde, with blue irises and she had completed only 29 quests in total and was only 23 years old. Chris on the other hand was 17 years old with brown hair and dull red eyes with 10 quests under his name. After going through each of their profile Alex slowly drifted to sleep.
