Era of Reckoning

Alex hurried over to the place marked on the map, using [Shadow Swim] to avoid the bustling crowd. He soon arrived at the place, but he gritted his teeth at what he saw. The house had two floors, the lower of which seems to have been used as a store. The door was ripped off it's hinges and the windows were shattered. There were two city guards trying to keep the small, curious crowd gathered around the building. Using [Shadow Sense], Alex searched the building but there wasn't anyone inside.


'It must have happened only a couple seconds ago. Which means I just missed them, hopefully Samantha isn't dead.' Alex thought and walked towards a woman in the crowd.


''Excuse me, can you tell me what happened here?" Alex asked and the woman looked him over


'' You don't look like a city guard.'' The woman commented


''No, but I am a friend of the people who live here, the Reeves.'' Alex lied and the woman's eyes became sympathetic.
