Era of Reckoning

Seeing the string of messages, Alex couldn't help but smile, then a few seconds later, that smile turned into a frown and then a groan escaped his lips.


'What the hell's happening?' Alex thought as he was almost brought to his knees as he could feel mana, as well as something else being trained out of him and into....his shadow. He refused to be brought to his knees as this was literally the worst time and place to be showing weakness.


"What's happening to him?" Samantha asked


"Prepare to run." Theresa whispered to Samantha and she nodded her head. The three guys have noticed Alex's situation as well, and after a bit of hesitation, they decisively pounced on Alex, trying to take advantage of his weakened state.


"Not today." Alex said and released his aura, bring all of them to their knees, including the two girls. All of them struggled to try and get to their feet, but none succeeded.
