Revered Magus Chapter 49 - Complete Explosive Potion 

After all the liquid from both the tubes went into the flask, Rio set down the tubes bottled the flask and picked up the flask by its mouth, and started twirling it, this is where this liquid shouldn't be in touch with any other components or it will either be diluted or fail

That's why the hippocamp's saliva was placed into the flask and lubricated the whole flask, making a very thin layer between the liquid and the glass

After twirling the liquid around a bit and studying the changes hoping for the expected results of a dazzling turquoise, however, the expected reaction didn't show, the turquoise was still there, but there wasn't any sparkle

'Ahhh, where's the sparkle?' Rio kept twirling hoping it would come because starting the whole process again would be annoying, 'can't this MC's plot armor come at this moment or something?'

After five minutes of twirling and confirmation that it failed, Rio dumped everything, went to go get fresh air, and proceeded to make up a new batch

About a week later, the newly created Explosive Potion was created, the second to last step was a nightmare, Rio originally thought it was due to the oxygen getting into the flask so he tried to be quicker

When that didn't work, he thought it was because he didn't lubricant the flask enough, after that, he just didn't know what to do

When he realized that it was his mana-matching twirling method that was the flaw

While rotating the two tubes to pour inside the flask, Rio's mana would not follow the pattern of the pouring, but instead stay in the original clockwise, anti-clockwise position

It took Rio 4 days to perfect the mana twirling method, and finally went passed the second to last stage, the last stage was the easiest but he didn't dare to be careless

It was practical, drawing a mini mana gathering formation around the flask, opening the cork from the bottle, and letting it absorb all the mana until it changes from turquoise to a cyan color

Rio put down a couple of spirit stones to soles up the time it would take to fill up the amount needed. After a couple of hours, Rio confirmed the potion was purely cyan with no hint of green, the potion was COMPLETE!!

Well, Rio guessed if it was easy to make it wouldn't be a rare potion, the reason it's rare is mostly because nobody knows the formula, even the ones that do have some impurities in it

But BEHOLD, a pure, fresh explosive formula with no impurities, 'got to get my money's worth from you' Rio thought as he looked at the flask and kissed it

Rio hasn't slept in a week and he feels like he's about to pass out, when Rio wakes up he'll make two other rare potions and also put them up for auction

Rio should make some decent potions as well, to sell for some quick stones, Rio thought he should at least have some spirit stones in my pocket

After unknowing sleeping for three days, Rio went to work on the other potions

Four months later

"Phew, that's the last of it done, Now I got the Explosive Potion, impervious Potion and Rehabilitation Potion, and some other options, I should have enough to give to the auction and get my pocket dragging," Rio said with a smile on his face

Rio doesn't usually let emotion show on his face, but who doesn't money make him happy and he's alone anyway

After putting everything into his ring, Rio went to shower, after putting on fresh clean clothes, Rio didn't put on his academy robe as this might draw conclusions when selling such treasures

'Should I wear a mask? Nah, I'll just slightly alter my appearance' he paused to think

'Let's start with my brown hair, I went to get some ink and soak it black, now it kind of resembled Xander's hair a bit, however, my mind was glossy more like deep black but dry and had a change in eye color, which was easy, just imbed mana into it, it will turn out blue' he nodded in satisfaction

'That should be enough, if anyone asks for a description they'll say black hair and blue eyes, which I'm not' Rio nodded as I looked into the mirror and headed to the auction house in a plain black robe.

The Auction house is in Solia City, so there was no need for him to travel outside the city, After about an hour Rio reached the auction house

'Auction…house' Rio slowly said while craning his head back to see the whole building

The Auction house wasn't in a building of some sort like a mansion or a massive business building, instead, it was in a big, tall pagoda with an overbearing sign that stated 'The Myriad Auction'

Rio entered and saw several people walking around, some people standing in a line and walking out and in of the auction

Rio asked someone who seemed to be a helper where he could sell potions and he kindly pointed the direction before helping someone else

Rio walked to the counter and told the receptionist 'I have high-quality goods, it's best to call someone higher to examine them' he said blankly

"Ah, special quality good huh, let me guess you made a pill that can make you regrow your arm and a sword that can even cut down Mount Gorge, listen, kid, you're way too young to start pulling off scams like this, go back home" he scoffed and waved his hands, shooing Rio away

'Hmm, how do I get some to examine these, I can tell by this goofball attitude she doesn't know anything about potions except maybe the basics' Rio thought before pulling out the other potions he made and putting them on the table

The receptionist person looked at the table and raised a brow "Oh, these seem to be good potions, but not to the point you call them special quality goods, they're alright at best" she said after examining each one of them

"I see you have the Mana recovering potion, the Health regeneration potion, the stamina boosting potion, the berserk potion, and the melting potion, all of this would tally up to 100 Medium Spirit stones with tax that would be 95 medium spirit stones, is that all right with you?" She looked at Rio in a less demeaning manner, She probably thought he was a crazy person before

"Yes that will be fine, I also got these three my master refined, these were what I was talking about before" Rio made up a master because if he said it was from me she would probably think it was a bunch of mixed liquid in a bottle that she couldn't analyze

"Hmm, master? Let me see" As she took the three colorful flasks and examined them, after half a minute she looked creased her eyebrows, "you said your master made this?" She asked

"Yeah, I made those other potions and my master made those three potions asking me to sell them" stated if she knew Rio was able to create those potions, even though it's nothing special, at my age, it's somewhat impressive since they weren't low-level potions but high-level potions

'He made these potions?, that means he's at least an adept alchemist, so I wonder what level his master would be, It seems I do indeed need to call someone to examine this as I have no idea what this is' she said, even though she was arrogant she did work at an auction house, being quick-witted would have to be a requirement, right?

"Give me a second, I'll have this checked out," she said before turning around and walking away
