Gallstones

I woke up to find myself lying in the emergency room, the previously unbearable pain now completely vanished, leaving no trace of discomfort. Joy, who looked deeply concerned, was the only one by my side. It seemed he had brought me to the hospital, and my sudden episode must have frightened him. I felt a pang of guilt.

"Scared you, didn't I? Sorry!" I said with an embarrassed smile. "You always seem to see me at my worst. Thank you for saving me again."

"How are you feeling now?" He asked, examining my face closely, his concern evident.

"It's just gallstones, an old issue," I replied lightly.

He called over the doctor, who conducted a further examination and detailed my condition and what I should be careful about in the future. The doctor told Joy that I could leave once the IV was finished, and he repeatedly confirmed this with the doctor after they had finished talking.
