Fiona's Frustration

Monica glanced at me and I blinked back, signaling her.

"Grace, don't be so upset! At this point, we need to face this challenge together!" she tried to console me, and I felt my eyes well up before rushing into the bathroom.

I quickly pulled out my phone and sent a WhatsApp message to Sam, then washed my face and came back out.

"What should we do? Tell me! I... I've lost all shame!" My tears started flowing again. Just then, George's phone rang abruptly. He quickly glanced at it and answered. I couldn't hear what was said, but his face turned pale and his lips twitched as he coldly said, "I understand."

He hung up, looking dejected and downtrodden.

Monica gave me a covert glance, and I raised an eyebrow in response.

After a moment, George looked up at me, "I need to step out for a bit, I'll be back soon! Monica, please stay with Grace. I need to handle something."

"What are you going to do?" I asked, feigning annoyance.
