C6: A Man Must Care For His Wife (R18)

Ken looked adoringly at his wife, whose ankles were caught under his vice-like grip, stretched out and pinned at the sides of her head. Her entire weight was on her upper back, and this delicate balance was under a threat each time Ken's hips slammed into her elevated lower body, his schlong pushing out thick squirts of cum from her surrendering pussy with each reckless thrust.

Like a woman possessed, she dug her sharp fingernails into his forearms and tried to survive the battering her womb was receiving for the third time in a row. As Ken felt his release approach, he leaned down and kissed her on the forehead greedily, increasing the weight and pressure of his thrusts. Simm wailed out incomprehensible moans and grabbed the sides of his face, her thumbs slipping inside his mouth and clamping down on his jaw.

Slathering the fingers with his spit, Ken closed his mouth, careful not to bite down too hard as he arched his back upward and exploded inside her, firing streams of fresh sludge right at her four baby-tubes. Her stomach swelled up once more, now almost resembling a baby-bump from the sheer amount of cum he had stuffed inside her.

"Let's..let's rest for a bit...oooh," Simm cooed in his ears, not that Ken needed the message. He couldn't go on anymore even if he wanted to. The stamina and strength he was so confident in was left bruised, as bruised Simm's fuckhole.

But for appearance's sake, he snorted like a stallion.

"Alright, you need the break, wifey. I'll go get something to eat for dinner. Rest well."

From the corner of his gaze, he could see Simm rolling her eyes while he wrapped her tunic around his lower body.

"Are you sure you err...you should go before leveling up a couple of times? You said your progress has been reset after waking up, right master? I'll go with you, wait for me-"

While she was considerate enough to avoid hurting his feelings as a man, Ken really did not want her moving, not when he could feel the faint pulse of magic within her womb. He reached down and pushed her back assertively.

"Something's happening inside your body. You better not move. Leave everything to me and relax. This is hardly the first time I'm hunting with a lacking physique."

Simm didn't really look convinced, so he promised her he would be back within fifteen minutes.

"You can come looking for me if I'm not here within the timeframe."

Simm nodded and closed her eyes with a faint smile, her hands stroking her lower abdomen gently. Through their connection, even she could feel the changes taking place in there. The couple shared a shy smile as they parted.

The sky was moonless tonight, Ken realized as he climbed out of the hollowed trunk. Starlight graced the sky with a sense of mystery and the forest with a cover of dread that highlighted the oppressive darkness. Observing his shadowy surroundings for a while, he cast a simple life-seeker spell, a common method used by rookie mages whenever they ventured into challenge grounds to hunt and train for experience points.

It took him several attempts, nearly wasting a minute of his time because he couldn't recall the exact incantation, or how to channel the mana around him to evoke the magical guidance that would point out where the nearest signature of life was. The first time he succeeded, it led him to a flourishing tree, which technically wasn't wrong.

But it forced him to make more adjustments to single out the fauna from the flora, and soon, he found a couple of large life-signatures half a kilometer away.

Ken sprinted in that direction fearlessly. He knew the terrain well, having spent so much time here in his previous life. And that was why he was forced to slow down after he covered two-thirds of the distance and realized where his targets were.

The purple swamp was filled with reptiles that weren't at all your ordinary creatures. He remembered discovering a Mutant Leech there one time. It had snuck inside his pants, and sucked out quite a bit of blood before he had realized anything.

Ken didn't know whether the passing of time had affected the swamp, but he wouldn't find many edible creatures there either way. So he decided to recast the life-seeker spell to change his target.

First attempt. Failure. Second attempt, he almost sensed the evocation. On the third try, the spell connected his senses again to the world of life-signatures....and froze his thoughts for a moment.

The two large targets he had chased till here were approaching him, fast. Fast enough, in fact, to completely outmatch his current speed.

Ken's eyes narrowed into slits as he took a couple of steps back and flattened himself on the largest tree nearby. His alert senses helped him notice a couple of shadows leaping above the forest floor even in the weak starlight.

Frogs! Judging by their size, both had to be at the Mutant Rank! How had he ended up attracting both of them at once? Had they gained sentience? That was unlikely.

If his weak vision could catch sight of the frogs, things worked the other way too. So it didn't surprise him to see that the movements ahead of him had come to a stop. The two predators were assessing the prey and waiting for an opportunity.

Unfortunately for them, he could still cast his life-seeker spell and pinpoint their exact locations.

Ken took a deep breath and tried to remember the incantation for the simplest, most effective attacking spell he knew. Common grade, common grade...

His first attempt failed, like he had predicted. But he was proficient enough in destructive spells to not fail a second time. He only needed to attack one of his stalkers.

"Croak-Umm!" the surprised outcry of one bullfrog startled the other out of its hiding spot. Ken stood still and watched the tall grass and bushes ahead shift as the frogs moved in tandem. One of these bullfrogs has just been assaulted by a Bleeding Curse. In a battle against Ken, the Bleeding Curse would do the frog little harm, more of an inconvenience, really. The curse simply created blood-filled abscesses on the subject's body, ending the effects by popping them all off.

The bullfrog was coated in its own blood, and the other bullfrog had sensed it.

But unlike how Ken had envisioned the latter attacking the former so that he could take advantage of the situation, the bullfrog was instead enraged. With an even deeper, louder croak, it shot toward him from the dark at a speed well beyond his ability to react.

The last thought to occur in his mind before he tried to cast another spell was...had he just attacked that frog's wife?
