Breeding To Break The World

The journey to the vicinity of the rune formation was not easy. Several possessed beasts tried to attack Ken. Conveniently for him, Merik's interest had been aroused when he said that he had a plan. The young goblin followed him from a distance and shot down anything that became a threat to Ken on the way.

By the time Ken and Merik reached the border of the area encompassed by the dark gateway, the beast horde managed to catch up with them. In this run, the beasts had strategically destroyed all the sentry towers that had been previously occupied by the trainees. Climbing up on one for safety wasn't an option. Merik's quiver was also about to become empty.

So Ken could only bring forth his speciality to the table—magic.
