Police or Military?

TL Notes: I have only one week left to finish my end-of-semester examination. I'll update frequently after I'm done with it.

With every subsequent increase in his level, his perception also undergoes a quantitative increment. His current perceptive point has increased greatly as compared to when he was level 1.

"Maybe I'm thinking too much." Yebou thought. Initially, he was wary as he identified those unknown men.

He thought it was probably one of those gangsters that he had defeated who had come to seek vengeance. He couldn't grasp their number as their auras and body movements kept fluctuating.

However, as he advanced, he realized there were not more than three people. What could a force of three people possibly do to him? From the look of things, he might have been overly cautious.

"Who are these people?" Yebou became momentarily stunned as he advanced.

Previously, from his estimate, he recognized that the people in hiding were not more than three. However, as he advanced, the number kept increasing.

Currently, he can hear conversations and perceive auras and body movements from not less than 8 people.

Moreover, these people in question weren't your average Joe, they were a group of trained people more like those from the police or the military.

There existed a huge disparity between these people and those hooligans he had fought previously.

"What do these people want?" Yebou thought as he came to a stop. He couldn't figure out the person or organization that he had offended to warrant such a strong force.

However, no matter how hard he thought, he couldn't think of anyone who could assemble this force.

Even though the Scorpion organization wasn't weak, it wasn't strong enough to hire these people. They wouldn't be able to afford their services much less talk about training these people. The financial burden would easily collapse the organization.

Hence, the Scorpion gang was out of the equation. The ones left were Blackie and Ato with their respective gang members. However, they were too weak to possess this backing.

It should be known that even if they joined forces together, they wouldn't even be able to confront the Scorpion gang much less this trained group of people. Therefore they were also out of the question.

The appearance of these unknown men made him confused and anxious. It made him remember a quote in his previous life. "The most dangerous thing in this world is the fear of the unknown."

"Huh," Lizzy muttered confusedly.

The sudden halt of movement made her confused. She couldn't fathom why her brother would come to a stop all of a sudden without any prior notice.

She was just an ordinary youngster. She had no ability to hear conversations from 200 meters away or perceive auras and body movements from people within the 100-meter mark.

"Let's go" Yebou spoke after noticing his sister's confused state.

Eventually, Yebou and his sister made their way toward their house. However, the more distance they covered, the more carefree Yebou became.

The group of people in hiding didn't seem to have any bad intentions towards them as he couldn't sense any killing intent from them.

Moreover, after checking the Mission tab from the system interface, there weren't any new missions issued. Meaning, no fight was going to occur.
