"Hahaha! You are right. We are indeed not medical practitioners but police officers. My small brain would definitely burst open should I try memorizing all these medicines and their attributes.

I am not a genius compared to you but just an ordinary person." Sergeant Quaye stated humbly pointing his finger to his brain.

"Hahaha! Hahahaha!" The two suddenly burst into laughter.

"After laughing for a while, Sergeant Quaye recollected himself and continued his act of feigning ignorance.

"We are after a suspect on the run. Do you by chance happen to have seen anyone moving around suspiciously?

"Hmm! Let me see." Yebou said, pretending to be in deep thought. A few breaths later, He replied, "Well, I'm not too sure. From morning to now, excluding you people, I've only met three people. However, none of them seemed to be suspicious.

"Oh, I see." Sergeant Quaye replied with disappointment written all over his face.

Realizing that it was getting late, Yebou bid him farewell as he left the forest and headed back to the village.

Sergeant Quaye not wanting to spend a second late in the forest after having his goal achieved also left the forest and headed back to the village with his men.

....

The next day,

Oframasi, Police Station

Inside one of the large rooms occupying the police station was the room meant for interrogating criminals and suspects.

Apart from a large table with two chairs, nothing else could be seen in this large room.

Currently, Inside the large room, two men can be seen sitting opposite each other.

However, one of them had both of his handcuffed together while the other was seated leisurely staring into the eyes of the man handcuffed. These two men were none other than LC Barrack and Mr. Joe.

After arresting Mr. Joe last night, because of his heavy injuries, he was sent to the hospital to receive treatment. With that, his condition became stable and he regained his consciousness the next day.

However, since he is a criminal and a highly skilled assassin at that, the police didn't want to take any risk for fear of him trying something funny which may bring unnecessary unrest to the village.

Therefore, the police immediately brought him to the station for interrogation.

Though the matter had been reported to the headquarters, Sergeant Quaye still wanted to try and see if he could obtain some information from the assassin even though it was unlikely he would get any.

"Tell me, who ordered you? Rest assured, if you make this interrogation easier for me. I promise you your sentence will be reduced." LC Barrack stated as he stood up from his seat.

"Hahahaha!" Mr. Joe burst into loud laughter as if he had heard the funniest joke on earth.

"A mere Lance Corporal dares to flaunt his superiority in front of me? Fool!"

Mr. Joe ridiculed him.

But the next second, "Pah! Pah! Pah!" A thundering slap resonated across the room as LC Barack slapped Mr. Joe's face three times nearly sending him into a coma.

"Fuck! Do you dare insult me? It seems you have forgotten about your current situation."

"You are a criminal and I am the interrogator. I only want answers relating to the questions that I would ask. Am I clear!?"
