A senior is always a senior

Sergeant Robert who had been quiet throughout, asked in confusion. He couldn't understand the meaning of the words his team leader uttered.

It was just a moment ago that he literary sold out the intelligence they had gathered to the very person they were interrogating.

However, he was now telling them the interrogation was as good as over. No matter how hard he thought about it, he couldn't get a single meaning to what his team leader was trying to say.

Noticing their intensified confusion, Inspector Kodua smiled and chuckled softly, "First of all, let's place our foot in his shoes." Inspector Kodua said as he halted his steps.

Taking a look at their faces and noticing their eagerness, he continued, " It's been more than 13 hours since you had been arrested for a serious crime but you've not heard any movement on the police side and knowing very well that they wouldn't be able to jail you at where you're been held currently, how would you feel?" Seeing this as a learning experience, Inspector Kodua wasted no time as he immediately dived straight into the topic.

"I would feel more comfortable and reassured because, after 24 hours, they wouldn't be able to detain me with their little evidence. Therefore they would have no choice but to let me go. Sergeant Robert answered.

However, even after answering, he still failed to recognize the need to give away such intelligence.

" Good! You're spot on." Inspector Kodua looked at him in surprise.

_It seems he has some ability._ Inspector Kodua marveled at Sergeant Roberts's law understanding.

He was a little surprised to see that despite his provocative and annoying attitude, he still had some talent under his belt. What was even more surprising was how well he had kept it hidden.

_Hmph! Now let's see who has got the biggest talent._ Sergeant Robert snared while looking into LC Jude's director.

LC Jude on the other hand had his thoughts solely occupying the scenario that had been shared by his superiors. He had no idea a challenge had been issued to him.

After a moment of surprise and amazement, Inspector Kodua got back on track, "However, during those hours, you've not been able to make contact with anyone, not even your lawyer then all of a sudden three police officers come in claiming to be envoys sent by the police bureau. How would you also feel about that?

" Well, let's see, sir..."

"No, wait! Let's hear from Jude first." Before Sergeant Robert could attempt to answer the question, Inspector Kodua interrupted him and subsequently posed the question to LC Jude.

Sergeant Robert's face darkened immediately upon having his words cut short. However, soon after, his smile broadened as a thought came to his mind.

_Okay, let's see how you're going to make a fool out of yourself. Hahaha!"

With the comparisons people have been making about them lately and how inferior the inspector saw him to Jude, he saw this as a good opportunity to prove to Inspector Kodua the vast disparity between him and Jude after Jude had made a big fool out of himself.

_It's about to go down! Hahaha! Sergeant Robert laughed triumphantly.
