Chapter Eleven

Gabriel lead me to a small cafe. The cafe was the bottom apartment of a large tree. There looked to be three more apartments above it. The outer walls was a off white wood, and the floors were a tile. The tile had a 'v' pattern down it. While all the accents of the cafe were a dark wood and forest green. The counter and cabinets were that forest green while the counter tops were the dark wood.

"Welcome in. What can I get you?" A girl with dark eyeliner and black hair asked. Her face was pale, and her hair pulled up into two buns on either side of her head. Her lips were a deep red shade. There was something in her eyes as well as they were two different colors; the right purple and the left black.

"Hello," I mustered out. I hadn't really been to a restaurant before. Not without Evan and Ellis. It's just been home cooking for me. I didn't want Gabriel to notice that this wasn't something I wasn't used to.
