PROPHECIES

Emperor Frederick laughed at his daughter's response and lovingly patted her head. However, he also felt guilty for not disclosing the truth to her. He did not want his daughter to think that her parents could sacrifice their child for the sake of the throne.

It is how they talk about the Dragon Massacre, and now Emperor Frederick feels more guilty than before as he hides the truth from his daughter. Princess Kyra is unaware of the fact that her parents sacrificed her and not the thing she thinks is what will hurt her after knowing the truth.

At night

Emperor Frederick and Empress Mary sit on the sofa in their room as Emperor Frederick informs Empress Mary about the discussion in today's meeting. He says, "Mary, what will we do? We will destroy Kyra's dream either way. Whether to tell her our deal or not?"

Empress Mary patted her husband's hand and asked, "What about the solution? Were we able to find any way to stop this deal?"

Emperor Frederick shook his head and looked at the floor. Empress Mary replied firmly, "Honey, it's best to tell her the truth."

Empress Mary's suggestion makes Emperor Frederick look at her shockingly. But after some time, he realized that it was best for Kyra. At least it didn't break her heart when she turned eighteen. Emperor Frederick was hesitant, but it was best for everyone.

Emperor Frederick had time to train Prince Charles for the ruler Qeania's needs.

They call Princess Kyra to their bedroom. They ask her to sit down as they sit in front of her. They ordered the maids not to disturb them and stopped the two princes from entering the room.

Princess Kyra was looking at her parents expectedly. She thinks that they want to talk about the successor ceremony.

When Princess Kyra came from her practice, she heard maids talk about today's meeting. She only listens to the part where they say, "Nobles request His Majesty to announce his heir."

As Emperor Frederick cleared his throat, Princess Kyra felt a sudden twinge of unease. She had been lost in her little world until the Emperor's words brought her back. "Kyra, we want to tell you something," he began, and she knew that whatever was about to be said was important.

The twinkle in Princess Kyra's eyes is as bright as a shooting star, brimming with excitement! However, Emperor Frederick and Empress Mary can't help but feel a tinge of sadness, knowing that their daughter's cherished dream is about to be shattered.

Princess Kyra is bursting with excitement! She's holding her posture steady, eager to show everyone she will be the absolute best. Princess Kyra nods.

Empress Mary speaks with fear, "It's about you and Prophecy."

Princess Kyra looks at her parents, confused. "What Prophecy? Why didn't you tell me? I thought you both agreed to hold my crowning ceremony."

Empress Mary revealed, "It is the Prophecy about you before birth. *Princess Kyra pointed her index finger towards herself, and in return, Empress Mary nodded her head in approval* The Prophecy is, 'WHEN SHE IS BORN, TRAGEDY TAKE PLACE. HOWEVER, HER BIRTH WILL BLESSED WITH THE UNKNOWN POWER.' It's about the firstborn Princess of the rulers."

Princess Kyra asks, "Mumma, I read this Prophecy in the book of Qeania. How can you be sure that it's about me? It is not mention about which Princess it is."

Emperor Frederick replies instead of Empress Mary, "Because Mage Luke told us it is for you. Because there is another prophecy about you."

Princess Kyra shook her head negatively, "Not possible, papa. There will be just one Prophecy about a person. How can there be two Prophecies about one person?"

Emperor Frederick's voice trembled with emotion as he disclosed to Kyra the truth, which would shatter her entire world. With a hint of mystery, he said, "There is something, my Princess. Something meant for you and your mate alone."

Princess Kyra chuckled, "Mate? Papa, mates are for supernatural beings, and I am a human. How can I have a mate?"

Princess Kyra thinks it's amusing that kids believe she's a mate, but her father's comment is not funny.

Empress Mary spoke, "The one who claims that you are his mate came for you when you were in my belly and later sent his people when you were born. Mage Luke confirms it, who can see prophecies and the future. He has seen your future but is hiding this information from us."

Emperor Frederick says, "You know about the Dragon's attack on the Empire."

Princess Kyra nodded her head. He continues, "He comes at that time, and that mysterious being is your mate. Your mate was the one who killed them with his people. He saves our Empire, but in exchange, he asks for...*Clear his throat* you."

Princess Kyra asks her parents, "And you were ready to give to him just to save the Empire?" They nodded their head. Princess Kyra looks at her parents unbelievingly.

Princess Kyra asks her father if she is the precious thing he referred to when he asked about giving precious things to save the people of Qeania. Emperor Frederick nods while looking at the ground with guilt.

Princess Kyra's presence of mind is known, and she can link things correctly.

Empress Mary continues, "The Prophecy says, 'ONE IS DARK AND THE OTHER IS LIGHT. SHE WILL TAKE HIS DARKNESS AND BE HIS LIGHT.'"

After a long pause, Princess Kyra asks, "Who is he? My mate?"

Emperor Frederick replied, "He's ruling over hell. Devil is your mate."

Princess Kyra yells, "And you give up on me. Your daughter. Before I was born, to give it to the Devil. So, I am not going to be your successor? I am not Crown Princess?"

They were shocked to see her in this state. They had only heard rumors that the Princess looked terrifying when angry and sometimes exuded a dangerous aura. However, this is the first time they have witnessed it. Her eyes are empty, and there is something peculiar about her aura.

As her parents watched her for a few minutes, they noticed subtle changes in her facial expressions and body language. They could see her eyes filling up with tears and her lips trembling slightly, indicating that she was feeling some emotion, possibly sadness, anxiety, or even excitement. Her parents observed her, trying to understand their daughter and how they could help her. They wanted her to know they were there for her and would support her no matter what.

Kyra has only one question, 'How can her parents sacrifice their daughter?'

Empress Mary was the first one who came out of her shock. She replied, "No, you can't."

Princess Kyra fumed, "How? Why? Why didn't you tell me first? I have my dreams, and because of your stupid decision..."

Empress Mary shouted, "Stupid? Kyra, we are your parents. But before becoming your parents, we are the rulers of the Empire. We have to think about our people first."

Princess Kyra yelled, "Huh? You choose your Empire over your daughter, who hasn't come into this world yet. Fine!! Be happy with your Empire, Your Majesties."

She stormed out of the room and headed to Mage Luke's tower. Upon entering, she demanded, "Why didn't you inform me about the Prophecy?"

Mage Luke lowered his head and replied, "Princess, you're not at the age to know about it."

Princess Kyra, "Then you all don't have to give me this false hope."

The sun's warm rays gently caress her face as she leaves the tower. She walks a few steps and finds a comfortable spot under a tall, leafy tree. Mage Luke trails behind her, his tall figure casting a shadow on the ground. They sit in silence, enjoying the peaceful moment for a few minutes. Suddenly, she stands up, her eyes fixed on Mage Luke. Her gaze becomes serious as if she has something important to share.
