He pulled away from the kiss, his eyes widened in surprise.
"What are you doing right now?" Dominick asked, his voice a mix of confusion and concern.
"I...I don't know," I confessed, feeling flustered.
"Luna, what about Alen? He's your boyfriend, remember?" Dominick reminded me.
"I know!" I sighed, feeling a wave of guilt. "I shouldn't have led him on."
"Luna, I thought you liked him!" Dominick's tone was incredulous.
"I do," I admitted, "I just don't feel the same way I feel for you." I finally confessed.
Dominick was taken aback by my words, his expression a mix of surprise and uncertainty.
"You know we can't be together," Dominick said, his voice heavy with restraint. "For your sake."
"That's bullshit," I cursed under my breath, surprising him. "I'm not the fragile flower you think I am, Dominick. I'm a grown-ass woman. I might not be Sol, but I'll do anything for you."
