Luna's POV

I woke up, disoriented and unsure of my surroundings. The soft mattress beneath me felt unfamiliar, and as I looked around, I realized I was lying on a bed in a strange room. The walls were made of rough, unpainted wood, and the ceiling was low, giving the space a cramped, almost claustrophobic feel.

I sat up slowly, my head still foggy from sleep. How did I get here? The last thing I remembered was... the cliff. I had jumped off the cliff to escape the fox, and then... darkness. My clothes were still damp, clinging to my skin, and my hair hung in wet strands around my face.

Suddenly, the door creaked open, and a figure stepped inside. My heart leaped into my throat as an old man walked inside.

"You're awake?" the old man asked, his eyes fixed intently on me. "You seem pretty better now."

"Who are you?" I mumbled, glancing at him cautiously. "Where am I?"
