Luna's POV
I took a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves. "We were just talking."
"Talking?" Dominick's gaze shifted to Alen, who looked away, a hint of guilt on his face.
"Yeah, just... talking," I mumbled.
Dominick stepped closer. "It didn't look like just talking. What's really going on here?"
I met Dominick's eyes, trying to convey the truth without making things worse. "We were talking about your father, nothing more."
Dominick's expression darkened, and he turned his full attention to Alen. "Is that true?"
Alen nodded, his shoulders slumping slightly. "Yeah, it's true. It's nothing serious. I was just worried about her."
"Worried about her?" Dominick furrowed his brows. "Why? You don't think I can take care of her?"
Oh my gosh. What's going on?
"It's not that," Alen replied quickly. "I just... I wanted to make sure she was okay."
"You're overreacting," I rolled my eyes.
