Dominick cupped my cheeks gently. "Are you ready?" he asked.

I nodded, though the tension in my chest remained. "I'm a bit worried though," I sighed, my gaze shifting away from him to the floor. "Do you think they'll listen to me?"

Dominick's hands slipped from my cheeks to my shoulders. "Yes, I'm sure they will. You're more than you give yourself credit for, Luna."
