Why Are You Angry?

Luna's POV

The tension in the air lingered even as we arrived at the mansion. Dominick slammed the car door shut and didn't even glance back. His boots thudded against the polished floor as he stormed up the staircase. He was furious, and I couldn't blame him—not after what had just happened.

I lingered by the doorway, Sol trailing behind me, her steps hesitant. From the corner of my eye, I caught Nina approaching, her face lighting up as soon as she spotted me.

"Miss Luna, you're—" Her voice faltered, eyes flickering toward Sol like she had seen a ghost. "You're here."

Sol said nothing, her gaze darting to the floor as though avoiding the weight of Nina's stare.

"Yeah, Nina," I interjected, offering her a small smile. "I'll be upstairs. I'll see you later."
