Things were going out of had as Rhian used a deadly trump card; "The song of the dead". This was a technique developed by Rhian after much experiments. It's ability to deal high mental damage with lethal side effects.

But this didn't affect the bear as it was unfazed by the effect of the technique. It was Rhian's last hope, but it seemed worthless in the face of an anormally beast.

"T...This! It wasn't suppose to be like this! It's omly you, Adam! Run while you still have the chance! You are special." Rhian's sobber words stinged Adam im the heart. How does she expect him to run while leave her here?

"Rh...Rhian is right! Run away before you die. One way or the other, you should be better living than us."

Adam had no choice but to pick up pace, running bact in the direction to their terninal point. He didn't dare look back for fear of seeing what he couldn't control.

"Hey dummy bear! Let's kick your ass before we arrive valhala motherfucking cunt!" Hohn voiced out before setting his defence ninites within his body on self destruct. The same went for Rhian as she doubled the effect by charging her abilities to overload.

After thirty minutes, Adam had gone very far from the fighting scene when he heard a loud explosion from his 6 o'clock. It was deafening, but he refused to look back as he cried his tears out. This was something he won't ever forget how things went during this day.

Boom!

Suddenly, rumbling earth caught up as the bear appeared behind Adam. It was evident it suffered grave injuries from the explosion, but it wasn't deterred from it's goal.

"I won't die in your hans, nor would I let you live. come after me bastard." Adam didn't spare a bewath whe he ran like a bullet train in an abnormal direction. It wasn' the zig-zag, nor was it the random style, but it was enough to slow the ferocious beast a little.

After an hour of non-stop chase the mouse, Adam made it into the chopper and started it without hesitation. It took him three minutes to prepare for lift, which was already enough for the damn bear to catch-up to him.

The Chopper was already in air when it suddenly stalled. The amouted bear was already on board the massive chopper and even engaged Adam in a brutal contest for control.

"Stupid meatbag! Die now!" Adam didn't hesitate to overload the chopper with his special hidden ability, which wasn't something to be spoken of yet.

It was unbelieveable that such an explosion didn't claim both Adam and the bear's lives in the end, but they were now vulnerable as they passed out immediately. How tenacious were they that made the reaper shriek in fear?

There was no way Adam would remain consious after the fall. He felt his head spun before falling unconcious.

Few hours passed by. The head of the facility had received a report from his reconnaissance team which he found not pleasing. He then made a call to someone whose figure displayed on a holographic screen.

"Sir! The test subject for project vermin is KIA! This was unprecedented due to a beast anormally. The young recruits are also KIA after detonating their nanites. Requesting next order sir!"

The colonel said with a usually stoic face as he stood at attention. He knew the consequences of failing this mission, so he didn't hope for something.

"Pack up your things and your troops. The scientists must be evacuated. I want the facility raised to the ground ASAP!"

The person ordered the colonel before hanging up. There was nithing else to do here anymore. He was the only hope of this project succeeding. But he's dead.

In a room with only a bed and a table, Adam woke up but felt his head sting after hearing an emotionless feminine voice.

Adam still heard voices as he awoke. He now knew where it came from. It was the damn system. It came as a shock to him when he first heard its voice.

"!!! Where am I?" Adam got to think a little about what had happened when he realized he was somewhere else. He lay on a sick bed which belonged in hospitals and was dressed in blue patient gown. This was the usual dressing for hospitals.

"Fuck Adam! I'm now in a hospital all because of a crazy incident, an...and I really lost them. #sigh# Life really knows how to break the rules without sanctions." Adam couldn't help but lament about his situation. He was alone now that his one month companions were gone.

Not long after, a nurse dressed in a white knee length uniform with her hair well dressed with her nurse's cap. She was pretty to say the least, but she wasn't of any interest in Adam's mind.

"Sir, you're awake already. I'll read your pulse and run some checks on you." The nurse said politely. Firstly, Adam has never been to an hospital before, and he didn't have funds on him, so he wondred what he was doing in an advanced hospital.

"Miss, I don't really have funds to pay the bills, so how was I admitted into a big hospital?" Adam's question made the nurse to cough. She was taken aback by his crazy question and didn't know what to say.

Does this guy not come from this world?
