A NEW ARRIVAL

In the Darkroom, two men could be seen together.

One was sitting while looking from some folder and the other person just stood there with a Calm look on his face.

"Tell me what happened.."

The guy sitting in his seat asked his question with curiosity in his tone.

"Akram got caught by them, sir...As you have suspected."

The other guy answered with a calm look and tone.

"Heh... It was known that guy was not much good other than his tongue and his connections.."

"How much they know..."

The guy spoke again after a while and the other answered again.

"No much sir, before they can know about you. I detonated the bomb in his chest... He only knows about your existence but they do not know who you are."

"Heh..."

A small chuckle came out of the guy's mouth as he stood up and spoke.

"Well, it seems, the time has come for me to meet them.."

The guy spoke and an evil smile came upon his face and the other person just stood there with a submissive look.

2 WEEK LATER.

As the sun rose above the horizon, it spread its majestic glow over the area. The world seems to welcome the sun and its glow as many people could be seen walking through the streets and going to their work.

There could be seen a lady who looked in her twenties walking through the streets. Her skin was glowing as the sun's majestic glow shone through her skin reflecting her beauty.

"Yes, I am here very are you.."

The lady could be seen talking to someone on her phone while walking through the busy streets and minding her own business.

"Ok be here fast..."

She spoke and put her phone down as she looked towards the glowing sun with her blond eyes which matched with her blond hair perfectly.

As I was standing waiting for someone, my eyes drifted towards the horizon, the beautiful scene in front of me, this feeling... It's hard to express this feeling.

As I looked towards the sky, I recalled the moments from that night.

The scene was... It was not satisfying to my taste.

Though I am a detective even then... I never thought that I might see something like this.

The scene of someone's heart exploding in front of me played inside my mind continuously like a broken recording.

"Haa.. having too good a memory, can also have its problems.."

A sigh of uncomfortably escaped from my mouth as I recalled the scene again.

As I was thinking about everything which had happened till now, I saw a car coming towards me.

THUD...

The car stood in front of me and threw something out of the window and without waiting for anyone, the car left the place.

As I looked at the parcel, my face got serious I picked up the parcel with a calm look and walked away.

I walked inside an alley where I opened the package.

Inside it, there were some documents and some pictures of a person.

"So he was right..."

I spoke as I read the contents of the paper.

After reading the contents of the paper, I burnt the paper Down with a lighter and walked out of the Alley.

"It seems I have to talk with him."

"Good morning ma'am.."

As I walked inside the building, I encountered many officers there and they respectively greeted me.

"Yeah, good morning to you also. Do you know where is Vijay?"

I great then back and asked Vijay's where out.

"Ma'am I think he showed me inside his new office, you had promised him. It seems he was very happy after getting the new office, I doubt that he would be somewhere else other than there."

One of them spoke and I just nodded my head and walked towards his new office.

After the case, Mr Sameer helped us by taking care of Akram's body. At first, he was so shocked that the poor guy wasn't even able to speak. But after we explained everything to him, his emotions calmed down a little bit and he helped us, yes you can say that we took a cop's help to dump a body...

After that Vijay started to stay inside my office and distract me from my work by always doing something to annoy me.

So I found an abandoned room for him inside the complex and renovated it for his new office.

I still could remember how he was jumped here and there because of just a small room.

But suddenly my expression changed as I recalled Vijay's expression from before.

"That guy...what is he... I have to do a background check on him.."

I thought as I walked towards his new office exclusively given to him.

"501...502...503...504..."

As I walked closer to his office, I heard a series of counting coming from his room.

"Is he learning to count in this age.."

I spoke with a little sarcastic tone as I opened the door to his office.

"Vijay, I have something....."

"Ohh Alice what's up, what are you doing here.."

As I walked into his office, I saw Vijay doing crunch on the floor... Shirtless...

"What's up, why are you so silent all of a sudden..."

He spoke as he stood up and I saw his well-maintained abs. He didn't have much body fat on him as his every muscle was well-defined and nearly to a level of perfection.

"Hey Alice..."

"Haa.... At least wear something..."

Startled by him, I hurriedly turned my face away, to hide my embarrassed look as I spoke to him... though I could feel my cheeks burning up.

"What you were the one, who got inside without my permission, I have a good body, I don't think any lady would hate me.."

Vijay spoke and the more I heard him, the more I got embarrassed.

"Wear something and then call me, I am outside.."

I spoke and left his room, giving him time to change properly.

"You can come in.."

As he called me again, I walked in and saw him wearing a shirt, seeing that a sigh of relief came out of my mouth but somewhere inside my heart, a disappointed feeling haunted me. And knowing what I was feeling I shook my head right and left to let those thoughts go away from my head.

"So what do you want to discuss.."

He spoke with a calm look while hearing him, I took a deep breath and a serious look came on my face as I spoke.

"You were right. The doctor did the operation by placing the pacemaker inside Akram's chest. He left that hospital after three days, Our team is trying to find him, and we have got some insight that he had left England and is currently residing somewhere in Bangkok."

"We are talking with the crime unit of Bangkok, to give us the permission to execute our operation there so..."

"It's no use, he is not there..."

He spoke and I narrowed my eyes and looked at him with a different look.

"What do you mean, he is not there.."

"It's as it sounds, it is just a plot to divert us from the case. That's a false news."

"But the information I have got is from a trusted site..."

"Yeah, it might be trusted and I am not saying it's wrong..... The guy should have been dead till now. Because it's much pain to let him stay alive till now...So I am sure that he must have been Assassinated till now."

"So you are saying he was in Bangkok but he must have been Assassinated till now there... And you are saying it without any proof.."

I asked while narrowing my eyes. I mean yes, whatever till now this guy had said and done is something that no one can think of or even dream. about But that doesn't mean, whatever he says will always be true.

"Ok, I will check it out.."

I Said with a little suspicious look and he just nodded his head calmly as if he had predicted this to happen.

THUD..

Suddenly a noise of door slamming was heard as one of the workers came inside of the office with a nervous look.

"Ma'am the police chief is here to meet you...."
