POLICE CHIEF
.....
"What is the chief doing here.."
I spoke as I looked at the worker who just narrowed his eyes.
"Ma'am I don't know, I was just told to inform you that he wants to meet both of you..."
The guy spoke and I just looked at him with a suspicious gaze.
"Why the chief wants to meet him.."
"As I said.."
"Ohh don't worry Alice, after all, I am so famous that even the police chief wants to meet me, well what can I say, hehehehe..."
Vijay spoke with a sarcastic tone and chuckled lightly while I looked at him with a deadpan look.
'Famous and he... I don't even know how he gets this much confidence in him...'
"Very well we are coming, you go and do your work.."
"Yes ma'am.."
Saying that the guy left the room and I turned my face towards Vijay.
"What do you think, why is the chief here to meet you."
I asked with curiosity.
"I know as much as you, And besides I don't even know who this chief is.."
"He is the new police Chief here. It is said that the guy has much influence in state and he is a cunning one."
"Ohh.. then it would be fun to Meet this guy.."
Vijay spoke and I just narrowed my eyes.
"Be careful in front of him Vijay. A chief is not someone you can mess with and come out unharmed. I suggest just staying quiet in front of him and don't make any sudden moves."
"Yeah yeah captain, Roger..."
"Let's go then.."
.....
"I am telling you one more time don't act out of the box, ok.."
I said to Vijay giving him my last warning before we meet the chief.
"Yes ma'am..."
And he just nodded his head casually as if this sort of thing were very normal to him.
"Haaa....Then let's go in.."
I opened the door and saw three guys sitting together and one of them was very familiar to us.
"Hello, Mr Sameer..."
I greeted Mr Sameer and he just looked towards me and nodded his head.
As I walked in I saw one guy sitting in a chair and one guy standing behind him with a calm, emotionless face.
"It's my pleasure to meet you, sir.."
By institution, I could easily tell the guy sitting in front of us was the police chief, so I just greeted him politely.
"Yes pleasure is all mine, Ms Alice Cross and you must be Mr Vijay right good sir.."
The guy spoke as he looked at both of us.
While I nodded my head with a calm face, I had a bad feeling that Vijay was going to do something which would be not so good for the situation.
"....."
But no matter how much I waited nothing happened, and seeing that I narrowed my eyes and turned to look at Vijay and saw a serious look on his face which I had never seen before.
"It seems you are not a person who likes to talk much, young guy.."
The chief spoke but Vijay didn't say anything as he just looked at both of them but then a small smile came upon his face as he spoke.
"No sir, it's just that it's my first time meeting someone like you, so I was just minding my manners, to not offend you, sir.."
But this time to my surprise, Vijay used a very polite tone, after which even I was for a second there was surprised, as I didn't know that he could speak like that too.
"Ohh you don't have to think about that young man, as I don't think any remark from an intelligent detective as you can ever offend me..so feel free to speak your mind kid.."
"It's your big heart which is so kind sir, I'm just a mere small detective here, sir.."
"Ohh.. you don't have to worry about that it's ok..Come here let me hug you.."
The chief said as he raised his hand for a handshake and with a smile on Vijay's face he grabbed the chief's hand.
CRUNCH...
"Ohh.. your grip strength is strong...very strong.."
"Well sir, I just do some basic exercise that's all.."
Then both of them hugged each other with a smile on their faces as a weird look came on my face...
'What the hell is happening here...why both of them are acting as if they are childhood friends..'
I thought to myself as I Saw them hugging each other very dearly, I turned my head towards the officer and saw that he had the same as me. The other.....well he looked no more than a statue there so leave him out.
"Well, it was nice to meet you and you too Alice, I came here to congratulate you as you both were a very big help to our department, so thanks for your good service, and keep the good work up.."
"Yes sir!.."
I spoke with a serious look on my face and the chief just nodded his head towards me and turned around and walked towards the door with him the other guy also started to leave without saying anything.
"Ohh and let's meet again.."
The guy spoke as he turned around and walked out of the room with the other guy.
"Well I also have to go, as I have some work to do, so let's meet again.."
Mr Sameer spoke as he also walked out of the room.
Now inside the room, it was only I and Vijay were there. I turned my head towards Vijay and saw him standing there very quietly while facing his back towards me.
"I didn't know that you can talk like that."
I spoke as I walked towards him but halted my steps as his face came into my sight. There was a serious emotionless look on his face as he looked nowhere.
"What happened?"
I asked him, and he just stood there.
"Th....They both were strong but the guy in back... He was very strong."
"What are you saying.."
Hearing him I narrowed my eyes. What does he mean they were strong it's a very weird way to address someone.
"No, it's nothing."
He spoke as he walked out of the room with the same emotionless face.

"Ohh.. you don't have to worry about that it's ok..Come here let me hug you.."
As I heard those simple words, I could feel the malice behind his perfect smile.
The guy in front of me looked like a middle-aged person with black short hair which had some white shade representing his growing age. As his calm and warm black eyes gave a dangerous aura to the guy.
But the person behind him was something else as the guy behind him looked in his mid-thirties his shape brown eyes and black hair gave him a mysterious look, the guy had a lean physique which was hidden behind a black suit.
CRACK...
As the old guy grabbed my hand, I could feel his grip on it though it was strong but not strong enough to make me uncomfortable, as the guy's eyes matched mine, I could feel his death stare towards me and I knew what he wanted.
CRUNCH..
The guy wanted to check my strength so I put a little more strength into our dear handshake Sharing what he wanted from me.
"Ohh.. your grip strength is strong...very strong.."
"Well sir, I just do some basic exercise that's all.."
Then he got close to me and hugged me. I could feel his mouth coming towards my ear every so slightly so as to not raise any suspicion.
"No matter... You won't be able to catch me up...See I am in front of you but still you can't do anything... I am going to destroy you and after I am done with you, I will go for that girl and everyone who is associated with her."
He spoke with a very low voice clear enough for only me to hear. But I didn't panic and after he was done, he tried to get out but I didn't let him go as I also wanted to say something.
"Nice try chief but no matter how much you try Even being the new chief of the department won't be able to save you. Sir Clark Redhine. Though I doubt that your real name.."
I spoke and a smile came upon his face as he again came close to me and spoke.
"You know it when I will feel that you are worthy enough for me to take you seriously."
"Oh, you say you are not taking me seriously even though it's you who has to come here as a chief just so you can put an eye on me.."
I spoke and a big grin came upon his face as he backed away from me his grin which looked creepy at first now changed back into a very kind smile.
"Well, it was nice to meet you and you too Alice, I came here to congratulate you as you both were a very big help to our department, so thanks for your good service, and keep the good work up.."
"Yes sir!.."
He spoke as he turned towards Alice and she answered him with a serious gaze.
As the guy was leaving he turned towards us... Though his gaze was only on me I could feel a very Malicious aura around him with a very kind smile which was not so kind to me he spoke.
"Ohh and let's meet again.."
And saying that both of them left the room.
