THE GUNSHOT

From where Katya sat, she saw her master dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out a dagger - the dagger of death.

"Cat got your tongue?" Vincenzo's lips curled up to the side, and he arched his neck to the left. "Then, a visit to heaven should do," he muttered.

His gaze darted to Katya who was still on the bed. With a signal from him, Katya left the bed and hid by the nightstand, far from where the masked man stood.

"Fire!" Vincenzo barked after he had made sure Katya was safe. The sounds of gunshots filled the hair and to everyone's surprise, the masked man escaped it all. His dagger was his shield, as he dodged all the bullets fired at him with just a wave of his hand.

Vincenzo raised his hand and the mobsters immediately let their guns down. Vincenzo's gaze lingered on the masked man, hoping to catch a glimpse of his eye but it never worked out.
