- - Going back in time a bit - -

Julius was present with Yuri in their inn room, he had just finished explaining to her his plan to deal with the present state of the kingdom of Roserun.

Firstly they'd leave the King and his noble collaborators be... for now

Using a simple ploy Julius would get the majority of the Roserun army to temporarily leave the city, chasing after the nobility that are on the kings side but not staying in the castle.

Which would give Yuri time enough to convince the people to abandon the capital and head towards the borders where Julius and Latinium's soldiers could protect and provide for them.

Her beloved country had become rotten from the inside out and only the people remained innocent to this but should the corruption spread further they would change as well.

And so while Yuri was present in the Inn speaking with the commoners getting the rumors to spread throughout the city without needing to leave herself, Julius had slipped out in the night, dressed all in black imitating a ninja in his own mind, he snuck into the Roserun castle and using his system "stole" all the money he could find in the chambers of the nobles, the king, queen, and finally by using his own Imperial Ring he cleared out the treasury of it's contents.

There were plenty of things that could not be stolen however.

Weapons, Armor, Artwork, and Jewels.

His system would only allow him to take in forms of tangible money, so instead he merely used his power level to allow him to carry a great deal of weight and quite literally throw out all these treasures, come the morning should there be any vagrants digging through the palaces trash they could live like kings as the bags normally filled with rubbish were now packed to the brim with pretty much everything of worth in the castle.

However these vagrant wouldn't have long to try for these spoils as Yurasia's story had already spread through the populace and many hearing her words had chosen to believe and ventured forth, claiming one of these tossed out bags and along with their families packed their things.

For come dawn of the new day they and any others who believe would leave this accused land behind for greener pastures.

And so the capital fell into a state of restless silence.

While the nobility was busy sleeping away their worries, or in the case of the unlucky nobles outside the castle they were being tempted.

Commoners claiming to have come with messages from the Grand Duke and Princess were enticing these nobles to betray their lord and master all for the promised wealth of the treasury and position under Julius's reign.

As the story fed to them went these nobles need only gather at the south gate with their men and ride the provided carriages filled with treasure south to the harbor where Julius's navy was waiting to ferry them off to their new domain.

And blinded by greed and the promise of regaining power under a strong lord these nobles didn't hesitate.

Quickly summoning all their house guards and even their family before setting off for the south gate.

"We're getting how much just to fill these things with stone?"

"Trust me it's on the level you already got the coin didn't ya?"

"Well yeah but why's the princess want so much stones?"

"How are we supposed to know? But it's for our princess, I'm doing this for free!"

Away at the South gate while the various parts of the city were already moving a troupe of commoners had been hired to fill up dozens of wagons and carriages to the brim with stones before covering it all up with heavy sheets of cloth.

By the time these men had finished their job the troupe was off to the side watching the assembled carriages with wonder in their eye as they rested their down worn out bodies, only to see a stream of knights and nobles come pouring towards them.

Not bothering to even pause for one second they quickly mounted up on top of the coach seats, throwing what they were carrying into the backs of the wagons onto the covered contents.

And so these men and watched as these newly arrived people hastily rode away with the carriages they'd just finished filling with stone.

"Eh? What do nobles be wanting with a shit-ton of stone?"

"I bet it's a trick! our Princess is so cunning them nobles will be sorry!"

The men continued to linger their work had taken them long into the night and they knew even if they were to sleep it would be interrupted by the chaos the day was sure to bring so they instead lingered on, drinking ales, and wine purchased with their commission fare from the princess.

Taking what many of them figured would probably be their final drinks, as the Princess was expected to initiate a revolt with the scurrying nobles being the first ones to abandon the capital before the fighting could begin.

But while this clatch was happening a new set of nobles appeared as the sun began to rise higher and higher into the sky.

These men were fully armed riding horses with soldiers running at full speed chasing after them.

And as they continued to watch on forgetting to even continue their drinking these men watch in awe as thousands of soldiers continued to file out of the capital giving chase after the nobles mounted on horses.

Or rather giving chase to the first batch of nobles who'd absconded with their "quarry"

It was only moments after this army was seen departing that the cities streets became flooded with people.

From the Castle balcony the remaining city nobles could only watch in horror as their capitals streets filled with people, at first it just looked like the start to another day, except that the people seen were all heading in one solitary direction... North.

The Roserun capital was not massive by anyone's imagination, so the total number of people leaving now only amounted to at best a hundred thousand or so, but to watch as this wave of people vacated their homes carrying only what they could on their backs, taking only precious mementos.

As the Capitals exodus continued shouts and screams came from all over the castle trying to stem the outflow of people but the north gate was open, and the few garrison men left could do little to resist the desire of the people to leave, many of them had chosen instead to join in and act as escorts walk with the people as they left the capital behind.
