An Explosion

Without caring about a few sharp pebbles that poked my sole, I made my way down to the base with shoes in my hand. I didn't care about being perceived as an inelegant woman by those warriors at the base. All I cared about was reaching the bathroom in time.

Argh! Those darn scones and pancakes!

Thankfully, there was no one around when I reached the base. At least I didn't see anyone, it's not my concern if any of them saw me.

Ah! I made it to the bathroom in time.

After finishing my business, I washed my hands and feet, and finally put on my shoes. I stared at the mirror. The tips of my ears were red, my whole body felt hotter than normal. The shame of leaving my mate and rushing to the bathroom with shoes in my hand instead of my feet finally caught up to me.
