Die

But what if I heard it right?

My heart suddenly drummed in my chest. I got this unsettling feeling that something was gravely wrong here. I pushed the trolley away from my path and sprinted to see that young woman's face.

"What the… What just happened? How did the trolley suddenly collapse?" The nurse exclaimed in panic from behind, but I didn't give a damn even though it was my fault.

I went and stood in front of that lady in the wheelchair. I needed to know who she was.

Holy mother of all!

I grimaced and covered my mouth with my palm in horror when I saw that woman's face.

She looked identical to me! The only difference was that she looked older than me, and looked sickly. Her eyes had sunken into her skull, her skin was stuck to her bones, and she looked like she was half dead… almost like a living corpse!

Who was she?

Is it… me? No, it can't be! Why would I… Why would I look like that?
