Mr Roland saw how angry Davis was, and saw that he was going to confront Kevin. So he just simply brought out a handkerchief from his pocket and cleaned the graffiti writing before it set.
"Let's go young master!" Mr Roland said and Davis obliged.
"Hey twerp, where did you find this hobo from and how did you get him to start calling you young master. Let me guess he is your partner in crime" Kevin said teasingly.
"Let's just go," Davis said before he did something that he would regret. Then they both got into the car and drove off.
*****
While they were driving, Mr Roland spoke up and broke the tension that their silence was building in the air. "Young master, you have to learn to control your temper," Mr Roland said.
"I know and I can. It's just that I'm not gonna let anyone mop the floor with my face ever again" Davis said.
" If you had confronted him, no doubt in my mind you would have gotten away with it. But you should be more focused on bigger things now. Besides the knowledge that you have an even better plan to get back at them with" Mr Roland said, then Davis smiled.
While they were still driving, they passed through his five star hotel. He saw that the building of the restaurant that he requested had started. He smiled as he remembered the words that his butler told him. 'Anything is possible, if you can only dream it and have the resources to establish it'. 'It most certainly is. It's almost like there's nothing that money can't buy.' he thought to himself.
"Mr Roland, ever since you called me that night, you have always helped me, and been there for me, you're almost like a friend to me. But what if you had met me when I was still poor, how would you have reacted towards me? That is, would you be nice to me?" Davis asked.
Mr Roland wasn't expecting Davis to ask him such a question, but he wasn't surprised that he did. He knew that Davis had suffered and had been mistreated by a lot of people just because he was poor. "Frankly, I don't know. But I do know that after your grandfather and I, knew that you had turned twenty one years old, didn't rest until we found you. Though it took one more year to find you, but fortunately we did." Mr Roland responded, smartly and strategically evading the yes or no question.
Davis, aware of the way he answered him, decided to let it slide. " So tell me about my grandfather, '' Davis said and made himself more relaxed on his chair because he imagined that there would be alot to talk about, about his grandfather.
"Well you see young master, your grandfather, grandpa Chen is a great man. He single handedly built up the Chen group of companies from scratch, and made his way to the top. He is particularly wise, a value obtained due to his age. He is very strict, but has a soft spot when it comes to family. And that's how I know that he would be pleased when he sees you." Mr Roland narrated.
"I would be pleased to meet him too, but on my own time, when I view that it right" Davis said, not wanting to be in a hurry to do anything.
Soon after they arrived at the industry. Davis marvelled at the size of the building. He had been seeing that building there from time to time, but no way in his life would he have imagined that that building was the industry that would soon become his.
They got down from the car and walked into the building. They entered an elevator which led them to a big room on the top floor. With a man standing inside. Who didn't dare to sit down on the chair that was present.
"What is this place?" Davis asked.
"This would be your office if you ever need it. And that..." He gestured to the man standing there; "that is Hedwick, he would be your lawyer" Mr Roland said.
"Goodday sirs, it is an honour to finally meet you, Mr Chen" Hedwick said. Davis just noticed that he just called him Mr Chen, and realised that he would have to get used to people calling him by that name from now on.
"Hedwick, bring the papers for the young master to sign"
"Yes sir" Hedwick obliged and did so.
He handed the papers over to Davis. Davis took his time to thoroughly read through it, when he saw that it was in his favour he finally signed it.
"By tomorrow the papers you just signed would be passed to the board of directors and they would be aware of this current shift of CEOship. You don't have to be present for that if you don't want to, Mr Chen" Hedwick said. Davis just nodded then they left.
His butler insisted on dropping him back but he told him not to bother. He knew that now that he has finally become an official CEO very soon he wouldn't have time for walks, so he figured it's best to walk now while he still had the chance. While he was walking back he got the opportunity to get himself a new phone. And so he did.
If he ever got a new phone, he wouldn't have imagined that the mayor would be the first person that he would call. He had taken his direct number from the industry, so he didn't have to go through the stress of calling his secretary first.
"Hello," the mayor's husky voice said over the phone.
"You are speaking with Mr Chen," Davis said.
"Well good day to you sir. I hope there's no problem?"
"That would be up for you to decide. I am the younger Mr Chen, and the new CEO of the industry. I would like us to meet over dinner today to talk about our terms of partnership" Davis said.
"Okay, what time and place?" The mayor asked,
"By seven thirty pm, and at your house. Feel free to invite your family to join us, specifically your two sons'' Davis said then hung up. "It's time to shock Williams," he said to himself.

Meanwhile in his five star hotel at the top floor at room 1051, Rita laid on top of the bed with Giovanni on top of her and slowly massaging her shoulders while taking her clothes off in the process. "I can't believe this is what I've been missing all this time" she said amidst moans.
Giovanni was almost done taking her shirt off, then his phone started ringing. He tried to ignore it at first but the caller was persistent. He tried to take the phone but Rita held him back, "don't go" she muttered. He didn't want to but the noise of his ring tone was disturbing him. He picked up the phone and saw that it was his father calling him.
"I have to take this, it's my father. Damn it of all the times you could have called it had to be now" Giovanni cussed underneath his breath, then picked up...
"What was that about?" she asked Giovanni after seeing his slightly worried look, after he had ended the call.
"It's my father who wants me and my brother to join him for his dinner meeting," Giovanni said.
"So, why do you look so worried over that?" Rita asked.
"I don't understand why my dad would want us there" he replied
"Stop worrying; if it will make you feel any better then I'll go with you. Now lie down and let me make you forget about your worries' ' Rita said and got on top of Giovanni.
As she was undressing, a knock was heard on the door. "What!!" She yelled, totally displeased.
"This is room service," the person behind the door said.
Rita wore a robe then went and opened the door. "We don't need room service, come back later" she said with disdain in her tone.
"I would have to kindly ask you to vacate this room. The CEO of this place wants to make some renovation and he needs the place to be vacant for that to happen". On hearing what was happening by the door Giovanni intervened.
"Damn your CEO do you know who my father is" he asked
"Yes I do. And he doesn't own this building" the lady behind the door said.
They were reluctant to leave so she had security throw them out of the hotel. With Rita wearing just her underwear covered with a robe and Giovanni just his shorts.
"Bastards!" He yelled. "Don't worry babe let's just get out of here" he added. But got shocked when he saw his car was being towed. "What are you doing, that's my car you bastards! '' he yelled.
"Your car was parked in a no parking space" the tower said.
"That's where I've been parking my car since, who made it a no parking space!?" Giovanni yelled.
"The CEO" the tower said then drove off with the car.
"What are we gonna do now? I'm getting cold" Rita complained.
"You're cold huh, well take a look at me I'm not wearing any freaking shirt so how do you think that I'm feeling?" Giovanni said. He felt as if the CEO of the hotel had some personal vendetta against him. Little did he know that that was actually the case.
He picked up his phone and called Kevin his brother.
"Hey bro, what's up?" Kevin said when he picked up. From the sound of his voice, and the music in the background; Giovanni could tell that his brother was at a party and that he was drunk. But he could only care less.
"Come and pick me up, me and my girlfriend are stranded in the middle of the streets' ' he said.
"Come on man don't play with me,what about your car?" Kevin asked insensitively.
"I don't wanna talk about it, so stop asking me stupid questions and just come and pick me up before we freeze to death here!" Giovanni yelled over the phone.
"Geez sure since you asked so nicely. Just send me your address." Kevin said he could hear Giovanni's tone and knew that he was serious.
"Don't delay" Giovanni said curtly then hung up.
In about five minutes Kevin showed up. And was driving them back home. But they got arrested because he was speeding and driving drunk. But they got bailed out quickly by their father who wanted them to be on time to his dinner with Mr Chen as he knows him.
On Davis side he decided that if he was to reveal himself to them; the Williams as the new CEO of the Chens industry, he knew that the news would spread like wildfire, and that it would be all that people would be talking about; he would no longer be known as Davis Walton the poor boy, but now as Mr Chen the heir to the Chens wealth.
He had to be at his best to be able to make such a big reveal. So he wore some of the best clothes that his half sister; Ursula, packed for him. Again he was impressed about how precise her fashion instincts were. Fascinated with how he looked, he knew what would complete his get up was a car; it would leave a bad reputation if the CEO of the industry arrives at a dinner with the mayor on a scooter.
He knew that the mayor won't cancel the dinner because the industry was the one sponsoring his campaign, especially now that re-elections are by the corner. So he decided to keep the mayor waiting a bit, and go car shopping.
After about thirty minutes of perusing through different cars, he finally settled for the latest version of the Shelby cobra. He took it out for some test runs before finally deciding to go to the dinner which he had made plans for with the mayor.
The mayor, his family and Rita waited for the arrival of the so-called young Mr Chen. Impatience started wailing on them.
"Dad this guy is not coming, he's just playing with you." Kevin said.
"Yeah, you're the mayor you don't deserve to be kept waiting like this as if you are some kind of lap dog"
"This meeting is important to your father so we all have to wait, '' their mother, the mayor's wife said, before her husband could say anything.
Rita lets out a sigh, "huh, I'm feeling tired from all the stress that I faced from today" Rita complained.
"Come on babe why don't we go upstairs so you can get some rest" Giovanni said and stood up
"And maybe we could continue from where we stopped at the hotel" she said cheekily, then also stood up.
Mr Williams, better known as the mayor, got irked by their insensitive talking. And banged the table with his two hands. "No one is leaving this table until after this meeting with Mr Chen" he said authoritatively. They murmured for a while then kept quiet and all waited in silence.
Not too long after their impatient commotion, the roaring sound of a brand new engine was heard outside. Everyone knew it had to be Mr Chen. And as they expected it was. But the person that approached them at the diner wasn't who any of them expected to see. He was definitely younger and looked really dashing in his clothes. Wait a minute, that's Davis. Isn't it?...
