With the way that they looked at us, it almost seemed like they were planning to do something.
The lackeys moved in front of me as if they wanted to protect me, but…they didn't get a chance to do anything.
The older monkeys just moved too fast for them to react.
They even moved too fast for me to react to them.
When they reappeared, they were right behind me.
All of them were looking at me before reaching their hands up towards me, as if they were planning to do something.
The only thing that I could do was watch them as they did this.
The lackeys turned back and reached their hands out as if they wanted to stop them, but they just couldn't stop them before the hands of these monkeys fell onto my…shoulders.
They didn't seem to be hurting me at all.
Instead, they seemed to be patting me on the shoulders as if they were thanking me.
