When Alexandra finally married her childhood crush at the age of 25, she didn't expect that she would one day catch another woman in the arms of her husband while she hid in the bedroom closet. “Let’s go,” Caleb demanded as he grabbed Alexandra by her wrist without a warning, pulling her away from the chaos and out of the ballroom in a matter of seconds while both Ethan and Hannah watched them leave with a smug smile on their faces.

“Why are we the ones leaving?” Alexandra questioned, yanking her wrist out of his grasp as soon as they were out of their sight, just the two of them hidden behind a wall somewhere. 

Caleb let out a deep breath. “I have my reasons, Al. Trust me.”

“Well, they can’t just -”

“Hey, hey listen.”

He was now looking down at her with both hands on her shoulders as she had her back pushed up against the wall, their faces only a few inches apart. “What?” 

A smirk etched itself onto his face. “I promise they will regret everything they had said earlier.”

“How so?”

“You’ll find out soon.”

There was one string of number that was stuck at the back of Alexandra's mind since that day. And it was the date that was printed on the wedding invitation of Caleb and Elisha.

On the day of their wedding, she found herself standing across the street in front of the hotel building. She have found out the address from their mutual friend. Looking up at the tall building before her eyes, a mixture of jealously, sadness, anger and even betrayal started to brew within her.

The mental image of Caleb standing by the altar watching Elisha walking down the aisle in her wedding gown popped up in her head and it was killing her. After all, she still loved him, she couldn't bear to watch him marry another woman. She needed to do something.
