After dressing quickly and quietly, so as to not wake Veronika, Lucy marched with a purpose towards Celeste’s office. She wasn’t exactly sure what Celeste’s office hours were, and it was still early, but Lucy couldn’t wait any longer. Lucy pushed her way through the double doors that led down the hall to Celeste’s office and only when she was standing in front of the door did she start to panic. Suddenly, all her courage left her, and she couldn’t be certain she wanted to do this. What if she had imagined it? What if it was a mistake? Could she handle it if Celeste tried to let her down easily? Lucy could feel herself shaking and part of her wanted to run away - run back to her dorm and bury herself under her pillow forever.
