In front of the room where Rey was training, a member of the training center stood with a pad in his hand, indicating the limit for Rey's session.
Inside the room Rey stood with a blank expression, at the broken pieces of the spear he had shattered a few minutes earlier during training to improve his proficiency.
His expression was blank, as he didn't know what do in this situation. What had just happened couldn't be repaired, and he now had to pay the penalty.
"Sir, are you alright? The time is already over, so if you wish to extend the limit, please inform us beforehand to avoid any misunderstanding," attendant told him when he found Rey not answering.
He took out the spare key for the door and put it on the scanner to enter.
What he saw was strange; the customer was fine but standing still as a piece of wood identical to the weapons they provided was in his hands.
"Oh, so that was the reason for the silence," he said as he in front of Rey and picked up the other part of the spear.
He started to inspect it and then moved back to face Rey who was standing still, hiding the piece he was behind his back.
The officer just nodded as he started tap tab screen he was holding and then showed it to Rey.
On the screen was a rule manual that stated breaking weapons may cost 10,000 Dragon points, breaking a dummy will cost them trainee a whopping thirty thousand points, and if the wall is broken, the person will be banned from the training center and one hundred thousand points will be taken as a penalty. If unable to pay, the person will have to go to jail in case of property destruction of the center.
With sweet smile, the officer then slid the screen to show the payment options.
With teary eyes, Rey begrudgingly paid the bill as ten thousand points were deducted from his wallet.
He was crying fake tears to release his sadness, but the officer didn't falter, Rey was just about to leave when Aiden stopped him by coming in front of him.
"Kid, hurry and take the item back with you as maybe I have something which can let you get the money back from these guys."
Rey, after hearing this, paused and looked back to find the officer arranging the room for another trainee.
He walked back toward the in the room and asked, "Sir, can I bring back the wooden spear which I just broke?"
"Oh, sir, you haven't left yet. Please go away as the next person is just about to come here and sorry sir, we don't have a policy to return broken even if they are damaged, as our center has some policy which we and you all have to follow to not give any item to anyone so please cooperate for the rules." The officer told him. Rey tried to persuade him, but the officer was more stubborn than him, and Rey had to leave dejectedly.
Rey walked out of the room and start walking away as he took a turn on the corner and left the room hallway. As after that officer who was cleaning and reorganizing the room also walked out of the room few minutes later.
After coming out of the room and looking around to see if the customer was still there, the officer closed the door behind and started to walk with the broken spear he had just picked up.
"Trying to be smart in front of him, huh. But you can't catch us no matter what happen." He said to himself while grinning a little and started to walk toward the other side from which Rey left.
However, he didn't know that Rey, who he thought had left the area, was still there, watching him from one corner of the area and even heard the words he just said.
After observing him take a left turn at hallway corner, he moved behind him as he approached the corner and peeked to see where he was going.
Yes, he was there, stalking to see what he would do with the weapon, and began to follow him to see where he was headed.
After stalking him for a few minutes, Rey hid behind one of the corners and the officer moving around, walking straight toward a single door marked
In the path he just followed, there were many cameras set up to look out for intruders which he didn't understand as even the main office and other main offices are on the other side of building then why did they set up so much security in this area of building.
Which started to build up the suspiciousness of Rey in this matter more as he was keeping pace while also hiding from all the camera with great difficulties as even sometimes he had to wait as the officer was also checking other rooms and stuff which he had to watch out for as what if he put the spear in those few rooms but he every time come out with the spear in his hands which made Rey job of stalking him much more hard.
As following him was getting much hard as time goes by as he was getting into a more secured place as even guards were guarding this area very tightly.
So let us continue when officer reach the place in front of the door. And yes, it was a backdoor that no one knew existed. Rey thought it might be normal to have a backdoor, but not in such a secluded like a treasure room.
Rey, who stalking him, was dressed differently than usual, with his entire upper body covered in a hoodie and a mask on his face.
He looked around for any cameras and managed to evade a few with some difficulty.
He didn't find any and started heading toward the door silently. Just as he was about to peek through the door window, he saw the officer walking back inside and didn't know what to do as the doorknob turned and the officer entered.
His eyes widened in surprise as he shouted, looking straight at....
"Who the hell are...."
