What does it mean to be abstract? Truly shapeless.
It is to be without definition, it is to walk a fine line between what is capable of being real and what isn't. Something like this cannot be categorized, it cannot be measured in its capabilities for creation or destruction. All it can be is observed. That is unless...you can force it into a shape you can hold.
In Japan during the current time, the IPOW is heavily underway. Many of the normal advertisements that played all across Japan had been mostly replaced with one pertaining to the IPOW. The city was in much disarray, the White Rabbit now was more famous than ever. His actions throughout the many months since his showing, and all the events of chaos that lead behind him. We're now all parts of his legend; however, the police weren't as pleased about the current condition of things. They were on their toes with current things, and the investigation now needed to be solved more than ever before. The higher-ups in the ranks knew that with all of the oncoming people and massive event known as the IPOW. That this would likely be their last chance to catch the White Rabbit however that wasn't the only killer currently running through Japan, as a new killer would emerge.
Along with some new faces as well...
At the airport of Ushin, many people were going through checkings and some were stopped a few times. The airport was filled with all sorts of stores, small restaurants and coffee shops. Myriads of people from nearly all over the world were arriving in Japan, some needing to live in whole separate parts of the country just to be near by it. The airport that was so jampacked that it wouldn't notice the smallest of things, from the small thieves stealing other's luggage's and even some girl being assaulted in a bathroom. It was like everyone stopped caring of the world going on around them, and were focused on the world that could be. Like as if they had already given up on it. Inside the airport a Indvidual wearing headphones would leave one of the docks, having come straight from South America. They walked off with their luggage and shades on, chewing some gum as they stared at everyone around them.
Their eyes darted to people all across the airport, a woman drinking some jasmine tea while chatting with her friends, a bald man reading some news on his phone, a kid playing with their toy while their mom was asleep waiting for their flight and a old couple sitting together watching as the planes fly by.
"Such beautiful people, such beautiful faces." said the individual, thats when their phone would ring. As they looked to it and answered they unwrapped another piece of chewing gum. "Ello?" asked the individual.
"How was your flight Tekaki? And do remember this now." asked nonother than Bato.
"It was alright. Kids crying, women panicking a little during turbulence. We all can't arrive in jets now." said Tekaki with a smirk. "How about my proposal?" Bato asked.
"So, I'm guessing this means you'll finally be taking me up on my favor. After all these years." said Tekaki.
"...Of course, I'll allow it." Bato said, Tekaki smiled as he gripped the phone tight.
"Now then, about the Machine." said Tekaki. "Go ahead and get yourself some new attire first, I've sent a ride and with that we can talk further business." said Bato before hanging up. Tekaki looked around himself as he put his phone in his pocket. His eyes slowly moving from one person to another. He then grabbed his luggage and took it with him to the bathroom. Before entering he looked at both restrooms, man and woman. His head slightly turned around, and would notice too many eyes were wandering around the place. So he went into the male's bathroom. As he did he'd see another man there. He had short black hair and a small beard, his eyes weren't as narrow as they were focused. Tekaki stared at the man. He was too busy looking at his phone to even notice Tekaki staring at him from afar. Thats when the man would hear Tekaki grunting and groaning near him, he turned to see Tekaki leaning against the stall door.
The man walked over to him putting his phone in his pocket "Excuse me sir, are you alright?" asked the man, but as Tekaki's head rose up the man's face grew in shock and fear.
"Y-You look....oh my-" Tekaki would then headbutt the man quickly knocking him out. He then would drag him into one of the stalls with his and the man's luggage. It would only be a few moments until Tekaki would walk out of the men's bathroom. He began to fix his attire before he continued walking out of the airport with his luggage. Eventually he'd look around and see a black vehicle with a man holding a sign with the name Tekaki on it. Tekaki nodded as he entered the vehicle and the man outside placed his luggage in the trunk.
Meanwhile all across the country away from the airport, at a grocery store, Kibe was shopping for some ingredients for his lunch. Himmy was with him. She was leaning against the cart bored out of her mind as Kibe was judging the eggs he had grabbed. Himmy fixed her blonde wig. "Ugh, is he done yet. I'm ready to fucking goooooooo!" Himmy groaned in her thoughts as Kibe continued to stare at the eggs.
"Monsters come in all shapes in forms. Some come in the shape of a beasts who devour the souls of men at the end of all things." Kibe thought, thats when he would turn his head to Himmy shimmying around.
"Sometimes they come in the form of inpatient partners." Kibe thought as he then noticed the price for the eggs was 418 yen. "...Sometimes they come in the form of inflation." Kibe said as he grabbed the eggs and placed them in the cart. He walked ahead with Himmy following behind him. "So, are we going to talk about?" Himmy asked.
"Talk about what?" Kibe asked.
"The elephant in the room dumbass." Himmy said, "First, the language isn't necessary. Second, if you really want me to notice something just say it." Kibe said.
"Your the smart guy, I figured you'd be able to just read my mind. Like you always do." Himmy said, Kibe just looked at her while she returned the same blank and annoyed stare back to him.
"I reckon you mean of what happened previously." Kibe said, Himmy nodded. "Sometimes things happen that don't always go along with the plan. But its how we evolve from the consequences and shortcomings afterwards, that make it a good or a bad plan." Kibe said.
"...I just feel, like my whole life is over. With just one stupid announcement everything I've done is gone...even me." Himmy said. "Now she is alone, granted she has me, but the fact is there is no going back now. Everyone that is partnered with police are looking for Himmy or at least who she really is...but thats not her anymore. Now with her old self no longer stable, she must mover herself to one that is safer.
Fortunately enough, I have long since prepared for her moving from her old self, to her true self. That of which I have brought into existence within her, all the notches, all the corners and hideaways I know and have measured accurately. Now all that is missing is the soul." Kibe thought as he and Himmy would walk together through the store. As they did Himmy would see another couple shopping by near them. She'd take a notice at the girl's body and all of it's attractive curves. She then looked to her's and looked at Kibe who was focused on shopping.
"Due to the Otsuka family's steep decline in funds and the business now dropping. I'll have to work on getting my own funds together...I wonder if the police would have me again. Unlikely." Kibe thought. "Hey, do you think I'm fat?" Himmy asked. Kibe's head turned to her.
"No." He answered before looking back at the shelf.
"You didn't even look at me." Himmy said.
"I know what you look like." Kibe said.
"But you didn't even linger, don't you want to like oogle or whatever at me?" Himmy asked.
"...Why?" Kibe asked "Nevermind, I forgot who I was with." Himmy groaned as she turned away.
"I stare at your visage everyday, every night too. Sometimes in other residents too. Sometimes I stare at in my head too.
It is hypnotizing, it is mind boggling to estimate what it is exactly that brings fourth this feeling from me. And yet I do not mind it at all, Infact at times. I welcome the sight warmly." Kibe said. Himmy's face got red as Kibe's words hit her like a truck. She tried to hold back a bashful smile. Kibe would look at his phone for a moment. The events of the past all began to flood through his mind.
From the time he and Himmy's minds traded places, all the way back to when he first met Brandon Wright. His mind raced until he began to notice he was crushing a small onion. "Oops." He thought, as he then put the destroyed onion down.
"These next few coming days, no, these weeks will be determining just how much I've truly grown since being in that place. To determine finally, if I have control over my own fate." Kibe thought to himself before then looking to Himmy.
"Come on, lets check these out and go home." Kibe said. "Fucking finally. I've been starving." Himmy complained as her and Kibe walked towards the front of the store.
"If I'm to plan my next moves, must learn true adaptation, to be like a beast. And calculate appropriately like a machine as they call me. They will no doubt make the first move, and when they do it will be one I cannot refuse unless I suddenly wish for failure.
I will have to play their game. Only, I will be using their trust and shattered ranks thanks to Mr.Mizuki, to my utmost advantage.
Ither way, it will be a great show. A true showing of just how flexible the human mind really is.
....I have no knowledge on this recent killer though, could be a few from the case files I read while I was on the force for some time. But none of what the scene was described as on the news fits the descriptions or the MOs. This may be a all new killer on the lose.
Another obstacle for them, and a easy way out for me...for now. I have no idea of their intention. Though that murder seemed targeted rather than animalistic like most others.
Likely enough they had been planning to kill that man for years. Possibly even a decade. But why now? Out the near 100s of times he was available. Why...now?
...This is no doubt going to be one of my most difficult of times. I can't afford to slip up. Not now.
I must act perfectly, no, more than that even. Like a machine. " Kibe thought.
