When Enemies Meet

Ava nodded, her own desires were modest, but Zoe seemed particularly keen on such activities. "Okay, Ava, how long has it been since we last went shopping together? Ever since we started the studio, we've been incredibly busy, not to mention dealing with your husband's Housework."

 

Seeing Zoe so happy, a smile spread across Ava's face.

 

"Yes, my fault. I'll treat you to dinner tonight."

 

"Ah, that's too blissful, long live the rich lady!" Zoe exclaimed, hugging Ava in excitement.

 

Following Zoe's original plan, after dining on steak at a restaurant and heading to the cinema, Zoe discovered that the movie she wanted to watch was sold out, and the next showing was too late.

 

"Let's just go to the mall," Zoe suggested, suddenly deflating like a frostbitten eggplant upon hearing there were no tickets available.
