Chapter 69

"Hey." He grabs my shoulders and pushes me back slightly, making me look up at him. My eyes are flooded with tears and his face is filled with concern. He uses his hand to move away strands of hair that are hanging over my forehead. "What's going on?"

Just thinking about it makes my head hurt even more. "I don't want to talk about it," I mumble, wiping my tears away with the back of my hand. "I need to go do something to distract me."

"Okay," He nods. "Go get some air and then come back and tell me what's going on."

I nod before he lets me go and I continue to walk in the direction I was heading in before he forced me to stop. I decide to go back home and change out of my ripped and dirty clothes. I make it to the house and to my room without speaking or sparing anyone a glance. I go into my closet and pick up a new set of clothes.
