Chapter 17

Once I was in a nice lime green dress, I slipped on font flats and walked out of my room, shutting the door behind me. The sun was shining brightly from the windows in the halls and I felt an utter soft glow in myself too.

I was descending down the stairs when I saw Gordon doing the same, my heart fluttered. Quickening my steps, I attempted to walk past him, but in the process, I tripped and almost fell on the stairs till an arm circled around my waist and I felt my heart pounce inside of me, but my wolf was purring in pleasure.

It felt like Gordon's grey eyes were peering into my soul, haunting my vision. My brain was telling me to flee, my wolf was growling for me to stay, and my body had a mind of its own. I could feel my chest pressing firmly against Gordon's when he pulled me even closer and brought his face toward mine, his face looking so vulnerable that I gave in, until there was a flash casted upon us and I jerked awake, and Gordon did too.
