Chapter 13

Apparently, Amy's talk made Layla more worried. "Layla," I said and looked into her brown eyes, "Be excited, and be yourself. I know he is anticipating you, so go inside and relax yours and his wolf. Let's go," I circled my arm around hers and led her towards the building.

"Don't leave my side," she whispered in my ear, and I nodded.

The guards at the entrance of the building asked me and Layla which pack we were from and what our name was, and then they took our coats. We were then welcomed inside the grand hall which was the most elegant hall I have ever seen.

There were many pack members than I could count, and the room we were in was huge, the ceiling was very high up with chandeliers hanging in different corners. Two staircases were on either side of the room with a hall in the middle of them on the second floor, where people were drinking wine and were having conversations.
