Chapter 32

When I spotted the old cottage, I placed the keys in the doorknob and walked inside as the door creaked shut behind me. I shuddered in the dark room and turned the lights on. The lights flickered multiple times before adjusting to a bright glow. I went over to the window and pushed the blinds to the side to look out at the thick forest ahead of me.

Fraser. This is all because of Fraser. I wouldn't ever forgive him. My tears dried around my eyes as I sat down on the neat tidy bed. "I would not cry!" I told myself as I laid down and closed my eyes.

My stomach growled, and I groaned. There was a sudden knock on the door, and I shot out of bed. When I sniffed the air, I recognized the familiar smell to be of Amy and Layla.

Running to the door, I yanked it open and let them both rush inside soaking wet. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked sadly.
