Chapter 89

Turning I flung the door open and it closed with a loud bang that filled the space with silence as all heads turned to look at me. I was looking for anything out of the ordinary anything that was suspicious. As I scanned the group a woman with brown eyes caught my attention. She never made eye contact with me but her eyes widened in horror and her face paled as she took in my appearance. I raised one questioning eyebrow and I saw focusing on my coat. She appeared ill and about to pass out.

I frowned as I looked down and I noticed that blood was smeared all over my coat. Shit, I totally forgot to clean myself up after the attack. Nobody move or said a word as I continued into the spa. They were frozen. When I reached the reception desk the young girl behind the counter slightly moved. Her eyes locked on me as she trembled in fear.
