Episode 1.3 Snap..

What? Had that boy over there read my mind? No I knew from the start that, that was just no boy. Whatever it was, I might as well trust that it's a god. Not because I want to, nor not because he's convinced me. It's because if I don't I feel as if my death is inevitable.

He paused for a moment. His body loosened, it was no longer tense, as if a wave of relief came over him. But what? you as the reader wonder.

Since when did I care about my own lif~

"Aaron.. I'm shocked in all honesty. You are face to face with a being, an unknown being who's calling himself god. And you're smart enough to accept it, you must be the smartest human I have ever encountered."

The god's words interrupted Aaron's thought process, the god spoke calmly and quite playfully.

Aaron with a cold sweat running down the side of his face, took a big breath in filling his lungs with words.

"It's better then dying isn't it.. god"

The god paused for a moment, its overwhelming smile loosened and faded for a moment. Before reawakening even brighter.

"You really are smart! It's quite alarming, I knew I was good at selecting heros, but I didn't think I'd hit gold."

As the god spoke, there appeared a few blocks in front of him. all of a different, each of a different color. They just appeared, as feelings appear from nothing. The god started to play with each of the blocks, one by one. He stacked them on top of one another, creating a structure with them..

It had Aaron mesmerized for whatever reason. The blocks seemed more important than the god before him, but no matter, he needed to figure out what? where? And why? But most of all, the Who? Not only of the god, but himself as well.

"Why.. am I here? What happened to me?"

Aaron's words flew from his mouth like spitfire. The tone in his voice grew louder, and his eyes more red.

The god rocked back and forth, continuing to play with the blocks. His smile dimmed, his mouth just resting on his face.

"You know Aaron, it's rude to yell at the one who made you. But I take no offense, I've heard worse."

He paused for a moment, his cheeks tensed and his smile rose up on his face. Such a ugly. Mocking smile.

"Because it's not like you can do anything about it. Im God afterall, and I can do~"

"An-y-thing I Want"

The god snapped his fingers while stretching his syllables out, and with a mocking tone as well.

"Snap.."

Suddenly a giant dark red flame engulfed Aaron and his every being, it was hot, burning every inch of his skin. Aaron yells, and groans, screaming in agony as he tries to catch his breath. But he couldn't, as if he opened his mouth, the fire would climb inside his body uninvited and burn his heart, his stomach, and every fiber in his body.

His eyelids slowly began to peel off, forcing his eyes to be burned in place. Aaron's pupil was burned through, scorching fire consuming the poor souls every being.. Aaron simply crumbled to the ground, in a flaming de~

"snap.."

"URAAAAHAHHHHHH"

Aaron screamed out, inhaling as much air as he could. He was standing still, with his eyes able to see, and his heart able to beat. The fire was gone. So was the pain, though the aftertaste of scorching hell was unpleasant.

Tears began flowing from his eyes, uncontrollably. He dropped to his knees, holding his hands out in front of him. As in this moment, he realized the God of Earth.

Was just as corrupt as the world it ran.

"..what do you want from me"

Just as Aaron was able to catch his breath he spoke. The words were uncomfortable, like the fire still lingered somewhere in his lungs.

"Be my hero Aaron.. and kill the gods who oppose me."

The god spread its arms out, like he was asking for a standing ovation. Aaron sat on the ground confused. Catching his feelings, and wiping the tears from his eyes. He pushed himself up off the ground to stand tall.

"your going to have to explain."

"Oh well, I guess you're right."

A chair suddenly appeared behind Aaron, the god gestured for him to sit. And so he did.

The dark gray room suddenly turned into a classroom, a single seated classroom. With the god standing at the podium in front of the class, the teacher was wearing a top hat suddenly.

"Hey, you think the top hat fits? Or is that different from schooling."

Aaron just sat in silence, tensing his fists into his thighs. He didn't know what to say, as he felt it was a test.. or maybe not. Fear was engulfing him, more and more.

But he had to calm down, he must. Because for whatever reason, a strange excitement was burning inside him. He wanted to find out what this was from. It was a feeling he thought he lost.

"Eh I guess it works, I like the top hat anyways, it makes me feel classy."

The god pointed at the chalkboard using a large stick with a finger pointer at the end of it, it seemed awfully familiar to Aaron.

The chalkboard had the drawings of 2 planets, one with the words "Earth" above it. Another with the name "Eternia" over it.

"Aaron, there is more than one reality with more than one god. You have no need to know the complexity of it, besides this one fact. You will be traveling to the world of Eternia with the task of encountering and killing the high god of that world."

Aaron was confused at first, but it began to slowly take place in his mind. The gods ask him to kill the god of another world, but why couldn't this god do it himself? Why did he have to do it? There's other gods? What a high god? How do you even kill a god? What is this other world..

"Wha-"

"Aaron, I like you. So understand this, you are expendable in every way, and you only need to know as much as I tell you. And if you refuse my request.. hell awaits for you in the palm of my hand"

Aaron was interrupted with the cold smile of the god. The flames of hell which he had only experienced for a second. If he denied this request, he'd have to face for eternity.

"You must interact with the "true" god of Eternia and kill him. If you die, I will replace you. You will get no help from me, as for you are simply a tool of mine. But I will give you the ability to travel to Earth for a day for every 2 days you are in Eternia. You can do so by cutting your hand off, your hand will be restored once you're returned to earth so don't worry about that."

Gods smile wouldn't return, as his mouth just rested on his face once more.

"You'll understand more and more about the world of Eternia, and the secrets of the gods as time goes on. Just realize, you are simply my tool, and you do as I wish."

"snap.."

God snapped his fingers.
