Chuuya stood in front of a large, white building, his hands clenched into fists and his teeth clashing against each other in rage. "Are you sure this is the place, Dazai?" He asked, holding no care in his voice for the man with brunette hair. Chuuya's only worry was directed towards the small child which was inside this labyrinth of hallways and rooms.
"I'm sure, Chuuya." Dazai said simply. "I even got Rampo to double check with me."
The ginger nodded, cracking his neck and starting to pull off his gloves. "I'm using corruption."
"Not yet, Chuuya, we don't know where she is.." Dazai said, holding onto Chuuyas wrist.
The shorter male glared at Dazai. "I can feel a pull towards her, Arahabaki is pulling me towards her. I can feel it." Chuuya removed his gloves completely. "I trust Arahabaki not to hurt her."
Dazai sighed. "Fine."
"O acquaintances," Chuuya muttered, Dazai moving away from him to let Chuuya be. "Grantors of dark disgrace," Chuuya started to walk towards the building, with no emotion on his face. "Need not wake me again." With that the known marks of Arahabaki covered his body, ripping part of his clothes at the force of the new gravity surrounding him.
Chuuyas steps left craters in the earth as he continued to approach the building, being tugged towards something or someone inside. Dazai watched from behind with loving eyes, filled with worry. He didn't know if Chuuya would be okay after this but he hoped he would be. Dazai slowly followed behind Chuuya after the door was torn down by a black and red ball of Chuuyas gravity manipulation.
The small girl stared up at the roof, they were sewing her chest and stomach together again, they had put everything back inside her and now she was just laying there limply while they stitched her up and got ready to wheel her back to her cage—- her room.
"A7S54, can you hear us?" One of the lower ranked doctors asked, she hadn't bothered to memorise their names, it would be a waste of time to do so since they would all end up dead one way or another. Miyo nodded weakly, she hated being called that, she wanted to go home and be wrapped in a warm hug by Chuuya, where he would call her by the name he had given her…
"Good, you'll need to listen when the head doctor comes to visit you in about ten minutes."
She was going to be beaten again, most likely. That's all Doctor Will did nowadays since he couldn't find the other three members of her 'unit'. Subject A7S54 nodded simply and looked away, she would have to get used to being called by her code name, instead of the name her mama had given her.
As she was wheeled into her cage, dumped on the metal floor over her overly thin blanket she couldn't help but wonder if Chuuya found another child to take in and give them her name, something in her chest tightened at the thought. She felt the tears welling up in her eyes again but she choked them down, she wasn't going to cry again, not when Doctor Will would be here soon.
As time passed Chuuyas rage seemed to be mixed with Arahabakis rage as they walked down the corridors, the gravity killing everyone other than Dazai and Chuuya now, it was like the god of calamity was trying to keep Chuuya alive this time. Dazai just followed behind silently, looking around for anything that might be important.
Slowly they made their way to a room with four files sitting on a desk, each file had a code on it.
As1
As2
AV54
A7S54
Dazais heart stopped beating for a moment and he collected all four files without a single thought going through his head. Dazai left the room to find Arahabaki about ten hallways down, so he ran to catch up with the god in control of Chuuyas body.
"Are we close?" Dazai asked, not expecting an answer from the god.
"Yes." The reply was short and demonic but the fact the god answered him made Dazais eyes widen in surprise. However that surprise vanished when he saw another worker being crushed to death under Chuuyas gravitational pull, blood splattering on the walls and the floor.
Miyo watched as the head doctor walked into her metal room, her dull, lifeless eyes now back. "A7S54, are you feeling better now?" Doctor Will asked with a grin.
The child wanted to say no, she wanted to fight against him but she couldn't, if she did she would be punished again. "Yes.." she answered simply, continuing to keep her gaze on the roof.
"Are you going to tell me where the twins and the demon went now?" He asked softly, trying to make her spill the location of the three other experiments which had run away when she did.
"No." She answered again, her dead eyes moving over to the doctor and staring into his soul behind the glasses. "You'll have to kill me."
Doctor Wills face turned red with anger and his leg moved, slamming to the side of her ribcage with a force that could break a few bones and the kick did. Two of her ribs snapped, the sound echoing around the room and out into the hallway.
"You little bitch!" The man screamed, pulling his leg back to kick her again "You need to know your place when you're here!" With even more force another kick was met with the side of her ribs, only it felt like there was a barrier protecting her from the actual force of the kick.
"I recommend you get away from her, now." Chuuya's voice wasn't the same as she knew it to be, but she could tell it was Chuuya… somehow.
Through the open door two people looked in, a man with ginger hair, red eyes and red markings all over his face and body, the other was taller than the ginger, a brunette with brown eyes and four files in his hands.
"Mama..?" The small girl whispered out, a light slowly appearing in her eyes as the Doctor stumbled backwards and fell to the floor.
Dazai walked over to the child and picked her up, holding her close to his chest. "We'll get Yosano to give you a checkup when we get home, okay?" He gently caressed her head, his eyes gentle and warm. Dazai glanced around the room, his stomach turning.
Even though he had been abusive towards Akutagawa a few years ago, he never once made the boy live in a room like this, even Mori actually gave Dazai a proper bed. This seemed more like how someone would treat an animal then a human, now he worried, had Atsushi gone though this environment too?
Dazai shook his head and stood, glancing at the demon inside of Chuuya. "Don't destroy the building." Something told Dazai that Chuuya would be fine this time, that he wouldn't die because Arahabaki needed a vessel to use to help care for this child.
Slowly Dazai walked out of the room, the metal door swinging shut behind him. Miyo looked up at Dazai, still wrapped up in his arms. "Huh..?"
Dazai laughed softly "you didn't think Chuuya and I would just abandon you, did you?" He asked softly. Miyo's eyes filled with tears and the water fell down her cheeks, she shoved her face into Dazais chest, sobbing. Dazai hugged her close, his eyes gentle.
"We were going to come get you, you don't give up on us, did you?" Dazai continued to carry her out of the building, walking past a room filled with multiple wired looking cylinders filled with what seemed to be water. Dazai glanced at it, his heart beating quickly.
It hit him.
Miyo hadn't been born, she had been made. She had been made using people's dna and it was probably explained in the files he was carrying. Dazai took a breath before pulling the crying child's face closer to him, walking through the hallways which were filled with blood, he didn't want to scare her.
However a small tear slid down his cheek at the thought of how she was created, trying to imagine the process. However his mind just went blank. How many other children were there that were made just for Miyo to be here?
Dazai exited the government lab and stood next to a tree, holding the sleeping child protectively, a gun in his hand at the ready, just in case. Chuuya walked out only ten minutes after, the building collapsing behind him. Dazai smiled as the red marks faded away, no damage was done to Chuuya this time. Chuuyas eyes went back to the same lovely blue as Miyos.
Chuuya approached Dazai, eyes locked on the child in his arms. Chuuya scooped the child up and held her close to his chest, tearing up. He hadn't been with her for three days; however it felt like three years. Chuuya kissed her forehead and a tear rolled down his left cheek.
"Let's go home.." Chuuya mumbled, his body falling to the side as he passed out, still keeping his hold on the child. Dazai caught them and smiled softly.
"I'll call Kunikida to come get us.." He said simply and pulled his phone out, sitting down with Chuuya between his legs, resting against his chest while the child was held in Chuuyas lap. Dazai pulled up Kunikida's contact and hit the call button, raising the phone to his ear. "Hey, Kunikida, can you give the Chibi and I a lift?"
