I Love You Never Forget That

ANGELLE

"Doc, is it possible to just have the surgery after the New Year?"

"I'm sorry, Mrs. But considering her condition, she needs to undergo the operation tomorrow. If not, there's a risk that her chest tightness and pain may worsen, and there's a possibility she may not wake up."

I could hear Mama's loud sobbing echoing in the room. I lay on my side, listening to them, unable to hold back my own tears silently. So, I will be operated on tomorrow? Is there a chance I won't wake up, or will I be asleep for a long time?

I had a seizure earlier this morning. And now, I woke up in the afternoon.

"Please do everything you can for my child, Doc. We don't want to lose her!" I heard Mama crying out.

It's painful to hear and see your parents in so much distress. You feel helpless, unable to comfort them because you know it would only hurt them more if you did. You need to be strong for them, not showing your own pain and not losing hope.
