Chapter 134 The Dawn Of Sun (2)

As I fought Kraven, he suddenly hurled another set of bolas at me, this time firing three in quick succession. I quickly evaded all three, but before I could catch my breath, he appeared right in front of me, lunging with his knives. I kicked at his chest, but he blocked it with one of his blades, forcing him back slightly. Taking advantage of the moment, I swung my web and kicked him hard in the back.

Kraven grunted, "Aurg!!" He gritted his teeth, his eyes blazing with fury. "This is the first time I've been humiliated like this!" He glared at me, his voice dripping with menace. "I really want to hunt you, Spider-Man!"

With a playful smirk, I replied, "Oh, scary." Then, meeting his intense gaze, I added, "You can try."

Kraven snarled, lunging at me again with ferocious speed and power. I dodged his attack, my spider-sense guiding me. His knives sliced through the air where I had been a moment before, and I could feel the lethal intent behind each strike. He was relentless, a predator in his element, but I had the advantage of agility and reflexes.

"Tsk," I muttered to myself, assessing his movements. "This guy's strength and agility are off the charts. After all The more he fight the more he got stronger."

Then Kraven lunged again, and this time, instead of dodging, I met his attack head-on, blocking his knife with a reinforced web shield. The impact reverberated through my arm, but I held firm. Using my other hand, I shot a web at his feet, tangling them momentarily. With a swift kick, I sent him sprawling.

"You're not the only one with tricks up your sleeve, Kraven." I taunted, keeping my tone light to mask the intensity of the fight.

Kraven snarled, quickly cutting through the webbing at his feet and getting back to his feet. "Impressive, Spider-Man. But Im not done yet."

"Oh yeah Bring it on," I replied, ready for the next round.

....

[Peter's Perspective]

As Doctor Octopus lunged his mechanical tentacles at me, I evaded them with ease, my spider-sense guiding my movements. I lunged towards him, aiming to punch him, but he shielded himself using his tentacles. In a swift counterattack, his other tentacles shot towards me with incredible speed. I managed to block them with my arm, but their sheer strength sent me flying backward.

"Aurgg," I grunted as I flew backward, landing hard. Shaking my head to clear the daze, I got up and muttered, "Such strong metal!" Gazing at Doctor Octopus, I murmured, "Just you wait, Doctor Octavius. I will find a way to save you."

Determined, I lunged towards him again. This time, I used my webs to entangle his tentacles, but he effortlessly cut through them. He lashed out with his tentacles again, but I evaded them, spotting an opportunity. I delivered a powerful punch to one of his tentacles, causing him to lose balance.

"Aurgg, you little bitch!" Doctor Octopus snarled, clearly enraged.

"Sorry, Doc, but I can't let you win." I retorted, readying myself for the next attack.

He recovered quickly, his tentacles whipping around menacingly. I needed to be smarter, faster. My mind raced, searching for a way to outmaneuver him. His tentacles were strong, but I could use their length and his reliance on them to my advantage.

Doctor Octopus lunged at me again, and this time, I leaped onto one of his tentacles, running along it towards him. He tried to shake me off, but I held on tight, using my agility to stay ahead of his movements. As I closed the distance, I aimed another punch, this time targeting his control harness.

"Take this!" I shouted, my fist connecting with the harness. Sparks flew, and Doctor Octopus screamed in frustration.

"You won't defeat me, Spider-Man Red!" he yelled, his voice a mix of anger and desperation.

"I don't want to defeat you, Doc. I want to save you," I said, my voice firm. "But I can't let you hurt anyone else."

[Meanwhile, in the Basement]

Chameleon stood in the dimly lit basement, his eyes fixated on the glowing orb before him. "Soon, this will be completed." he muttered, a sinister grin spreading across his face. The orb, radiating a light akin to the sun, was cradled in a vibranium holder.

The choice of vibranium was crucial. Its unique properties allowed it to absorb and deflect kinetic energy and vibrations, making it the perfect material to contain the intense heat of the orb. Adamantium, though incredibly strong, was less suitable due to its susceptibility to extreme heat.

Suddenly, Chameleon heard footsteps approaching. He turned towards the sound and saw Doctor Doom entering the room.

"It's wonderful, isn't it?" Doctor Doom said, his voice filled with pride and ambition.

Chameleon nodded, his gaze returning to the orb. "Yes, sir, it's truly wonderful."

Doctor Doom stepped closer, his eyes gleaming with vision. "With this, we can change the world's perception. We can achieve the true meaning of peace."

Chameleon nodded again. "And about our deal, sir?"

Doctor Doom looked at him and smiled. "Don't worry. I will fulfill your wish once I achieve the world I envision. With this, I'm sure we can do it without failure."

Chameleon, filled with confidence, replied, "Yes, sir. I believe you can achieve it. Even if those heroes try to stop you, they won't be able to. You are the greatest, Doctor Doom."

Doctor Doom smirked, his eyes narrowing with determination. "Yes, and I will never let them interfere with my plan."

Then Doctor Doom smirking evilly and added, "All we need now is the electrogenesis that Hilton possesses."

Chameleon nodded, his confidence growing. "Yes Sir!."

The two men stood there, united in their ambition, as the orb continued to glow, a symbol of their dark aspirations.

[Meanwhile, in the Baxter Building]

Reed Richards, known as Mr. Fantastic, was deep in thought, pacing back and forth in his lab. The problem of Doctor Doom gnawed at him, an unshakable sense of foreboding settling over his mind.

Suddenly, the door to his lab opened, and Reed looked up to see his wife, Susan Storm, the Invisible Woman, standing there.

"Hi, honey," Susan greeted him, her voice soft and concerned.

"Oh, hi, babe," Reed replied, managing a small smile.

Susan approached him, placing a comforting hand on his arm. "What's going on in that brilliant mind of yours?" she asked gently.

Reed sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Ah, nothing... I just..." He paused, taking a deep breath. "I just have this weird feeling that Doctor Doom is planning something big."

Susan squeezed his arm reassuringly. "Babe, even if he is, we're going to stop him like we always do."

Reed looked at her, his eyes softening. "You're right about that." He leaned in and kissed her, finding solace in her presence.

....

[Meanwhile, in the Training Gym]

On the other side of the base, in the Fantastic Four's state-of-the-art training gym, Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, and Ben Grimm, the Thing, were engaged in a heated game of basketball.

"Hey, Rocky, ready?" Johnny teased, a mischievous grin on his face.

Ben glared at him. "I told you, don't call me Rocky!"

Johnny laughed. "I'll stop calling you that if you manage to stop my shot."

Ben growled, his competitive spirit ignited. "Bring it on."

Johnny dribbled the ball with flashy moves, weaving around Ben with ease. With a quick crossover, he sent Ben stumbling, and then he made the shot.

"What's up, Shaquille O'Neal? Can't handle my moves?" Johnny taunted, his grin widening.

Ben gritted his teeth in annoyance. "Let's try again!"

As they continued their game, the camaraderie between them was evident, their playful banter a welcome distraction from the looming threats they often faced.

[Mark side]

After Mark Taylor and Emily Hawkins discussed their future plans, Mark found himself alone with his sister, Mary Rose Taylor. Mary was deeply engrossed in sketching designs for her fashion work when Mark approached her.

Mary Rose Taylor, sketched designs in her notebook. Mary was a talented fashion designer, recognized by her peers and superiors alike. Her notebook was filled with beautiful drawings, each one showcasing her creativity and skill. Despite her young age, Mary had quickly risen through the ranks, earning the title of senior designer thanks to her undeniable talent and hard work. Her boss had recognized her potential early on, propelling her career forward with rapid promotions and opportunities. As Mark observed her work, he couldn't help but feel a swell of pride for his sister's accomplishments.

"Um, Mary, there's something I want to talk to you about." Mark began, catching Mary's attention.

Mary paused her drawing, turning her gaze towards her brother with curiosity. "What is it, Mark?" she asked, a hint of anticipation in her voice.

Mark hesitated for a moment, searching for the right words to express his thoughts. Finally, he found the courage to speak. "I know you're planning to marry Michael," he started, "but I was thinking... what if we had a double wedding?"

Mary's eyes widened in surprise at the unexpected proposal from her brother. "A double wedding?" she echoed, her voice tinged with disbelief.

Mark nodded, a hopeful expression on his face. "Yeah, like, Emily and I could have our wedding at the same time as yours and Michael's. It could be a special celebration for both couples." he explained, his words filled with sincerity.

Mary's initial shock quickly melted away, replaced by a radiant smile as she processed the idea. "That sounds amazing!" she exclaimed, her excitement evident.

Mark's heart swelled with relief as he saw Mary's enthusiastic response to his suggestion. He had been worried about how she would take the idea of sharing their wedding day, but her excitement was evident.

"Yeah, I thought it could be something special for all of us." Mark said, a smile spreading across his face.

Mary's eyes sparkled with joy as she imagined the possibility. "It would be amazing! A double wedding with you and Emily, and me and Michael." she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.

Mark nodded, feeling a sense of warmth wash over him. "Yeah, exactly. We could have a big celebration, with all our friends and family there to share in the happiness." he suggested.

Mary nodded eagerly, already lost in thoughts of wedding plans. "Great, I loved the Idea and I know Michael will love it too." she added, her enthusiasm contagious.

Mark grinned, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders. He was glad he had brought up the idea to Mary and even happier that she was on board with it. Knowing Michael's personality well, his best friend would undoubtedly be excited about the idea too.
