Death to All Centurians

Melchior's eyes widened as he soon found himself in a completely different spot. He stood dumbstruck at the sudden switch in location.

From the centre of a cluster of houses in the town to a completely brown grassland with nothing but flora and fauna as far as the eyes could see.

Many questions arose in his mind.

Where was he? Was he still in Centuros? Or Elgross, for that matter?

And that confusion allowed his opponent a brief window of opportunity.

The green-eyed man gripped him tighter, pulling out a long, curved dagger. He brought the dagger down to Melchior's side. It bounced off of his dark cloak unsuccessfully.

Melchior yelled out in surprise as that happened. He'd be dead without a doubt if not for the cloak his father had given him. It was much stronger than he could have possibly expected, but even that wouldn't be able to save him if he let the assassin keep attacking.
