am going to stay

I went and first withdrawn some money from the ATM cause I needed enough cash when traveling.

when I was done I ordered for a taxi cab and i left..my home town is a bit far almost two and a half hours drive..when I sat in the cab I pulled out my phone from the pocket and held it in my hands because I expected a call from my boss anytime soon.

I also texted my roomie Rayan that I have gotten an emergency at home and I won't be coming back tonight,,so that he doesn't wait for me at dinner since we usually have it together.

I told the taxi driver to speed up little bit cause i was running out of patience and i was literally sweating.I was still in my thoughts when my phone started ringing and it was my dad..I picked it up

dad ; hey son did you receive my message??

yes dad and am on my way there..please send me the address of the hospital

dad; okay am going to send you my live location right away..am waiting for you son

okay dad am coming..and he hang up.

He sent me his live location and I showed it to the driver and he knew the place so he took that direction.

we reached the hospital parking lott and I paid the fare then he left.

I got my phone again and dailed dad's number cause he didn't tell me the ward they are in...in just two rings he picked up.

Hey dad i am in the parking lott so which ward are you in??

Dad; am here at the cafeteria just opposite,look this way behind you am seeing you

ohh yah I have seen you..I hanged up and went to the cafeteria to meet him.He also started moving out and when we met he first gave me a tight hug and pulled off my hoodie saying,"hey kid you still put on hoodies?? why?? I thought you changed.Anyways thank you for coming I was really worried for your mom and its hard when am all alone with her.

I replied yah i understand dad while putting back my hoodie and he just smiled looking at me.

Dad; oh by the way hope you informed your boss that you are coming here and you might be off work for some two three days??

I just replied yes dad I asked for some off days and yes am going to stay with you guys.I couldn't risk telling him that I didn't talk to my boss before coming cause i know he worries so much and am not ready to have two patients when his blood pressure raises.

We went to the ward and saw mom laying down there on the bed and she was on life support machines.when she saw me she wanted to say some words but I rushed to her and made her to relax.It hurts seeing her like this but I had to be strong so that she heals fast .

I sat on the chair next to her and held her hand in mine as an assurance that everything is going to be just fine.

Dad was sitting in the corner looking at both of us and when he saw me looking at him he pretended to be looking through the window..I just smiled

After some time I looked at mom and she had fallen asleep,I pecked her on the cheek and went to talk to dad.

Uhm dad what did the doctors say?? will she be fine?? he looked at me then back at mom and he held my hand gently and told me to follow him outside.

we left the room cause i think he didn't want us to wake her up with our voices.

Dad; look here son the doctors said your mom's condition is not so scary but she needs to be taken care of and by this i mean me and you we have to be there for her so that she doesn't get worried about a thing which causes her blood pressure to raise..am afraid son but you have to move back at home.

I was about to answer when he continued and said,,"I know its far from home but am going to take the responsibility to drive you every morning to work so that you reach in time don't worry about that.she needs us now please.

I just sighed cause this is really too much for me but still this is my mom and dad is right maybe she was giving things a lot of thoughts which resulted into blood pressure now we need to be there for her.I told dad that I needed to first go back to my room and pick up a few things I will need.He just hugged me and I hugged him back but as we were still hugging my phone started ringing and i pulled out of the hug.I got out my phone only to see the caller I.d and it was my boss..I froze.
