Upon hearing He Yaozu's flattery, Qin Hai couldn't help but laugh inwardly. An old fox is still an old fox, showering him with compliments right off the bat, throwing all semblance of integrity to the wind. It might seem as if He was genuinely moved, worshipping Qin to the point of prostration, but in reality, this old geezer was just trying to cozy up to him, the Master of Starshine, to find a way to get a firm grip on Starshine.
However, one has to admit, the old man's acting skills were truly impressive.
If it weren't for the fact that Qin was already familiar with this old man's tricks, he might very well have developed a fondness for the fox just from these few sentences. Later, when He Yaozu suggested that the Starshine Gang do something for National Security, it would probably be much harder for him to refuse.
