49 - Vacation 4

"I am gonna stand in middle. Let's first find out about strength of your shadow possession jutsu."

I stood in middle, around 1 meter apart from Chikako and let him put me in possession. As soon as possession started, i tried to resist, of course without chakra's help, possession ended on count of 15. 

"We should get measurement tape and stopwatch so we can make this data perfect. Lets buy them tomorrow."

Chikako: "Don't take tension. I will brought them tomorrow. I will ask my father for them. He must have them."

"Okay. Reset again and lets try with half meter apart position."

He nodded again same process started. This time possession limit increased up to count of 60. 

"Lets try 2 meters apart, where you can barely reach?"

He nodded. This time it persisted only for half second. I was easily able to break it. 

"Let's not do same process with chakra. It will be just waste of time. With this small experiment we can conclude possession time exponentially decrease as distance increase. So first thing as soon as possession start is that you need to get near opponent so your jutsu's strength increase and chakra consumption decrease."

He nods. Afterwards we measured max range of his possession jutsu. Its around 2.25 meters and about speed its around 10 km/h. Good for normal human but for Shinobi its worthless except you do surprise possession on opponent.

"Now we will test it every week, so you can measure your progress in it. But we will do that for sometime only."

Chikako: "Why for sometime?"

"Actually it will be years before we stop. There is reason. In future you will be stuck at some point. At that time, it will be just detrimental for your mind and emotions."

Chikako nods.

Chikako: "What do you measure for your training?"

"In your clan techniques, user maximally stand and do shadow possession jutsu with protection of their teammates. As per this your clan members, are rear guard fighters. But in my case, or should i say vanguard fighters, standing still is same as like giving enemy your life. And for swordsman like me, speed and accuracy is everything. So what, i want to measure is my speed and stamina, but its not possible for now as I am mostly gonna focus on tree climbing exercise and kenjutsu for my vacation."

Chikako nods on listening this. 

"Okay, we will start your perfect measurements from tomorrow onward, after we get stopwatch and measure tape."

Chikako nods, and after saying goodbye, he leave training ground. I also completed my training of rekkou and went home.

After having dinner, sitting down i again started to think about my training. 

In morning, as i told to Chinatsu san, i am concentrating on tree climbing exercise. But it ends quite fast for me. First session last 30m. Yes I can only stick to tree about 30m and then my chakra gets exhausted. Than I do meditation via swinging my bokuto in one continuous motion of Overhead cut. After 30m i recover my chakra up to some level and than other session of tree climbing exercise only last for 10m. As we start we start our training at 7, tree climbing exercise ends around 9:30. I need to think how to fill up time of 9:30 to 12.

Yup lets do that. I am gonna intensify my training of Rekkou in that time. Yup, Rekkou doesn't require use of chakra. In night, when i was doing training for Rekkou, i only get around 30 to 45 min to practice it. But with this, i will be able to increase duration of Rekkou training. 

But what should I do in that duration. After thinking for sometime, as my morning is about chakra control and i am reducing that time, I should increase that time again in night duration. But Tree climbing exercise takes too much of chakra. and I am already got comfortable with leaf sticking exercise. Yes, how about chakra flow. Yes, I should take advantage in that department. 

After thinking all this I noted down my new training schedule which I will follow from tomorrow on wards for Monday to Saturday:

 07:00 - 9:30 => Tree climbing exercise (After mastering it, I will proceed with 3 Basic Jutsu)

 09:30 - 12:00 => Rekkou Training

 12:00 - 04:00 => Relax and of course guitar training

 04:00 - 06:00 => Regular Shogi battles

 06:00 - 07:00 => Kenbunshoku no Haki training

 08:00 - 09:00 => Trackless steps training

 09:00 - 09:30 => go home and dinner

 09:30 - sleep => Chakra flow training.

After noting down all this I went to sleep.

Progress in training:

 Tree climbing exercise: 30m with full chakra I can reduce chakra wastage more

 Rekkou: 70% (In training)

 Trackless steps: 50% (In training)

 Kenbunshoku no Haki: 40%
