chapter Two

"I hope we can be friends though" he looked sincere and I actually liked people who were friendly so I shook his hand, "sure" then I waved and left, after the final registration the teacher took me to the class.

"Good morning class this is your new student, please introduce yourself" the teacher asked me.

I straightened my posture and smiled.

"Good morning everyone, my name is Cassandra Evans, and I'm glad to be part of this class, thank you"

They clapped for me and I found a seat, after I settled down the class resumed back, and I mostly answered the questions, happy to be here and not let my mom down.

Most of the class question were things I had seen before and most of them not, after the class I had to go to the library to catch in my reading of course, now I knew why James Logan school wasn't just any kind of school, it's prestigious name must have originated from somewhere, seeing as every class was serious with their studies and the teachers spared no efforts to discipline the students and also the equipped science and laboratory classes, I mustn't let my mother down.

News travels fast, and very soon, everyone was talking about me. It was also like that first and second class. During lunch Lily invited me to eat with her.

"I need to use the restroom I'll join you later"

"I need to use the restroom. I'll join you later." I couldn't hold it in that long seeing as I had no break period in between classes because I was determined to be focused.

I ran to use the restroom, after washing my hands, I came out and suddenly looked around for the refectory, I saw someone standing so I walked up to him.

Honestly this school was a little too big already for me so it was quite easy for me to get lost and I also had a terrible sense of direction. Blame my poor brain for loving only biology and chemistry too much. I'm asking how to not get further embarrassed hehe.

"Excuse me, do you know the way to the refectory please?"

The guy turned around to look at me. Clearly amused and smiling, he was also very handsome, he looked me up and down before saying,

"Sure that's where I'm headed, wanna join me" I nodded and followed.

"New student right? I think I've seen your face in the hall"

"Yeah maybe, very obvious" I said.

"Maybe a bit obvious, you have a unique face so it's kinda easy to spot" he looked at me.

"Wow, guess I start looking to be invisible so I don't easily get spotted, not easy being the new girl, especially knowing everywhere, it's so big I can get lost honestly, like how do you guys even cope, even though you've been going to school here for a while so it's.. relatively easy sorry I talk too much when I'm nervous"

"It's okay it's nice, you're carefree, I like to that, you're an extrovert, so it's quite Normal and yes, it's kind of hard , I also got lost during my first time too, took a while, I'm sure you'll be kicking in no time"

"Thanks" I said again when we reached the cafeteria.

"Sure, you're welcome, let's hope we become friends"

"Okay"

I sat down with Lily for lunch and ate,

"First class was great, every student seem so serious'' I told her

"That's James Logan high school for you, everyone is a bit serious in studies, no one likes coming last, it's such a disgrace for them, seeing as everyone here is from an influential family, you got to keep up the appearance" lily emphasized and I giggled.

"Rich kids and their problems, I'm so glad I the way I am"

"Hey I have no problems too, where are you looking?" she turned around.

"Nothing, I thought I saw someone familiar, it's nothing"

"Yeah, I doubt there's anyone here that's slightly familiar to you, everyone here is almost influential like I said, you have never met them before"

We talked for a while before the bell rang. Of course, we had extra curricular activities for our class so I went swimming first, walking into the locker room. I changed wearing one of the swimming suits I bought.

We got into the water as we raced against ourselves, it was quite fun and funny. I wasn't that much of a swimmer.

While others were just swimming around, I sat at the chair and dried my hair, when I saw someone's presence and I turned to look.

"Hey"

"Hi" the guy that escorted me to the refectory and registration office.

"Wait, are you guys friends?" He nodded.

"Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, I'm Jacob Alexander and this is Jonathan Desmonds"

"As in the elites?" "I really don't like you referring to us like that, we're friends remember?"

"Yeah, sorry" we talked for a few minutes before they left, after they had gone some girls came up to me and threatened me to stay away from them before leaving, I was asked to clean the pool afterwards, lily wanted to help me but I insisted so she left, I was cleaning the pool so busily when I felt someone push me into the deep part, I was struggling but I managed to see those girls who warned me before, I thought I was going to die when someone dived into the pool and pulled me out, carrying me to the floor, I coughed out the water when he pumped my chest and I coughed hard, then I opened my eyes I thought I saw an angel because the guy above me was extraordinarily swimmer.

He had dark hair and was incredible sexy with it when it's wet, I was feeling slightly uncomfortable because I drank a lot of pool water but at least I struggled to keep my eyes open, I knew who did this, but I didn't want to report, as lily said they were high ranking kids, who knew what else they'll come up with.
