Chapter 5 Dungeon

When we go out, we head to low-level dungeons to level up. Right now, my power level is equivalent to a C-level adventurer. Arisu is a B-level adventurer, and Kenji is also a B-level adventurer. Even though they seem to be at the same level, there's a significant difference in power. Moving from G level to F level is easy, but the further you go, the harder it gets. I look at Kenji. "Bro, where's the dungeon?" "We'll get there soon. It's an E-level dungeon. Two B-level and one C-level, we'll clear it easily." "I'm really excited, bro." "We usually go anyway. Why are you so excited?" Arisu pets my head. "I don't know why I'm this excited." No, actually, I do know. The reason I'm excited is that they're reading this. Kenji takes me in his arms. He starts talking. "If the little one is excited, then I'm excited too." I visibly grin. Kenji continues talking. "Here's the entrance to the dungeon." Arisu joins the conversation. "It looks different from the other dungeons we've entered. The other dungeons were like cave entrances. This one is more like a crack." "Yes. But it's okay. This is definitely an E-level dungeon." We enter the dungeon. I'm a versatile fighter. I can use both magic and a sword. My use of magic is strange compared to others. I support using magic with a sword. I can use other spells too, but I like using them this way. There are mostly goblins in the dungeon. We easily kill the goblins. As we progress, we encounter creatures we've never seen before. They seem mutated. It feels strange. I look at Kenji. "Is this place really safe?" "Don't worry, kid. Nothing will happen. And if it does, I'll protect you. Now, we're going into the boss room." When we enter the boss room, the entrance we came from closes. Arisu speaks with fear. "W-what's happening?" Kenji pets Arisu's head. "Don't be afraid, Arisu. I'm here. We have to move forward now. We'll defeat the boss and get out of here." Arisu and I nod in agreement. We move forward and approach the boss. We're getting close to the dungeon boss.
