Dungeon Shop-1

It took some time to kill the female goblin, that bitch was a great swimmer and kept emerging from the different points of the Pond to take a breather. It was very hard for him to drown her, as Arun could not pinpoint her location. But with persistence and not letting her off his sight, he was eventually able to drown the bitch for good. It was after her death, did he got the message that he had been yearning for..

And sure enough, he saw the familiar strings appear on the other side of the cave. Before accessing the shop, Arun sat down on a rock to recuperate his strength. He had wasted a lot of his mana in the fight, from what he could feel, if the bitch would have persisted for a few more minutes then he would have surely passed out because of mana exhaustion.

I need to increase my mana. And find some long-range magical skills.

With great effort, then he took off his left boot to see the situation there. That wolf had done a number on his feet, flesh was hanging from his feet, while the blood didnt look as if it had the intention of stop flowing from his mangled feet.

That is weird. This amount of blood… It could easily make a normal human faint or lose their strength. Yet I am feeling exhausted here at best. The amount of blood before him was a lot. He then figured, that that this must be because he put some stat points in his Vigor. Now he was not feeling particularly bad that he invested in Vigor.

After resting for a bit, when he sensed that he was losing his strength as the blood was not stopping, he realized that it was now time to visit the Shop. Somehow, while hopping he made it to the other side of the cave. He pulled the string to the shop and soon found himself sitting at a very familiar dilapidated bar. And before him was a very familiar old man.

"Master Arun," the old man greeted, "It is a pleasure to see you again,"

"Yeah yeah," he said, "Tell the best way from which you could heal me completely,"

Without even looking at his injuries, the old man said, "For 5000 I could heal you completely,"

"Deal," he said.

Then the old man passed him a smile, "But I am afraid that you dont have enough money sir,"

Arun passed him a smile as well and took the trunk that he took from the Goblin village, the one which was filled with glowing stones and coins. "Will this work?"

"Certainly sir." Some coins and glowing stones vanished from the trunk, and Arun found himself completely healed. It was spectacular magic, considering his soreness was also gone.

Arun then started selling everything that he saw as a waste, starting from all the glowing stones that he had. And from the kind of deal that the old man gave him, he realized that the glowing rocks fetched a pretty penny. Those glowing rocks or mana stones, were harvested from the different higher-ranking beasts from the floor. He didnt think about it much as he got a lot of money out of it, money which was essential for the purchases that he was thinking about getting.

It is after almost emptying his inventory, did he stopped and considered the words of the old man. "Wait… You should that the mana stones from the beast are considered very precious, right?" The old man nodded. "What they are used for?"

It was very strange to him that people of this world also considered these glowing rocks were precious. He would have understood if these stones were used in jewelry or something. But till yet, he had not seen anything like that. Which is why he was very curious as to what these were used for.

"Well, they are very precious as these stones increase the attributes of players or natives that absorb the mana that is inside these rocks,"

"Say what now?" he was stunned for a minute. The old man repeated his words again, making Arun dumbstruck.

"What the fuck are you speaking!" he yelled, he made a mistake. He shouldn't have just sold those dumb rocks. He should have collected them, and gotten stronger. There was no reason for him to sell everything.

"Can you by any chance return the items that I have sold you," the old man smiled, and pointed at the small board hanging from the ceiling of the bar, saying, No sale could be reversed.

Arun then ruffled through his pouch and took out the rock as big as a football. He got this thing when the giant boar disintegrated into nothingness. He was going to sell this as well, but now there was no way in hell that he was going to sell this. "Talk to me, old man. How can I absorb this thing?"

"That information would cost you 100 coins."

"100 coins?" he exclaimed, "Are you insane? That is just too much,"

"Well if you pay me 100 coins.. Not only would I tell you how to absorb the mana inside. But also tell you about the precautions one needs to take when absorbing. But also tell you, why one could absorb the rocks in the first place. There is a big reason why players or natives could absorb these rocks," the old man said.

Although Arun was pissed, still he paid the old man coins. And he was glad that he did because the things that the old man told him made him realize how little to no information he had about this world….
